Finally got good (or at least better) sleep last night after one of THOSE weeks. I haven't had to deal with that much concentrated stress in awhile. Got up this morning and went to a great yoga class, then to a massage (this one turned out much better than the last, because the stress level was down, and I didn't hit a deer this time). Came home and tried a new blender smoothie recipe from Vegetarian Times: 1.5 c coconut milk drink, .5 c soft tofu, 1 T honey, 2 T chia seeds, 1 c frozen blueberries. Too thin, so I dumped in another cup of blueberries, though I could have just used ice cubes.
Happy Saturday, everyone! Good day yesterday, didn't get any formal exercise but still was able to keep things in balance well. Maintenance really is an ongoing balancing act. Off to do too many things in too little time today, typical weekend in our house, LOL!

Still trying to get my act together. Had another episode with the pistachios last night, though not as bad as the last one. Just not feeling focussed on the things I need to do. I just need to do ONE THING. Then do the next thing. Not that tough.
Managed to exercise yesterday . . . I just don't understand why I can't get into a regular routine. Wishing I was able to join a gym--not that I really like gyms, but would like the structure, camaraderie, and variety it would give me and that I seem to need. (Asking myself if would I commit any better if I did join?) I live in the boonies and don't go to town on a regular schedule (I work from home) so that would make it difficult to get there on a regular schedule anyway. Note to self: Get it in gear! Put your big girl panties on and do what it takes--even w/o a gym.
Kept on track with food yesterday -- actually under caloric needs, but will make up for it tomorrow when we go out for dinner. I am banking a few calories.
Update! NO MORE Wiggle room on my weight! Still figuring out how to keep balance and stay in charge. Staying active but could step it up again.

Men aren't very good with pain, though I can't say I am either. Hubby has probably dislocated something at the shoulder, most likely his clavicle. I am trying to get him to go to ortho urgent care, I don't think this is something he should fool around with. But he is insisting on doctoring himself with anti-inflammatories and icy/hot cream and cold packs.

Good morning team. Glad to see March here. Not the stellar start to the month that I had hoped for, but maybe I'm just learning to accept realistic results. I did have a little bit of a binge on some sugar free cinnamon swirl creme cake, but not so bad that I ruined my nutrition for the day. Not where I would have like it, but definitely better than it could have been. Closing at work tonight, so I have some slow cooker salsa chicken started which should be ready to portion out when I get home tonight. Got the fridge cleaned out so I know what kinds of freggies I need to pick up at the store tomorrow morning. Going to do a port tenderloin tomorrow or monday and a batch of 7grain blend and that should be good basis for meals for most of the week along with some fish and veggies. Having that all prepped should free up some time for me to set aside gym time. So, maybe not such a bad start to the month after all.

Good morning everyone. Had a rest day yesterday, a lot of driving around to meetings. Toda we are visiting my daughter in the city, meeting the new boyfriend, then a dinner party with work friends. I'm going to find some time for the spark people 28 day bootcamp DVD this afternoon!
