Happy Tuesday all. Coming in a little late. I was up early and went through my normal morning routine of coffee, working out, breakfast, and so on. Did some chores around the house had breakfast and now it's noon. Day goes by quick, quick, quick.

Although they were calling for ice, we have had just rain so far. I hope it stays that way. Have to pay the dentist a little visit in a couple of hours. Not my favorite thing to do. At least today is just to mount a crown.

Wishing you all the best.

Hey, everyone!

So this is the last push at work to get everything out by Thursday to Medicaid and Medicare for the health system I work for. I'm in decent shape with what I need to do, but it's been very stressful, and my exercise and food have suffered as a result. I'm up to 163 this morning, but getting back on track to get back down to 155.

So 2 weeks from Sunday is my half marathon that I've been training for. I'm a bit nervous, especially after a horrible last long run on Sunday, but I figure that I just have to have faith that I can do it. I've run 13 miles before, and I can do it again...I'm just going to be doing it with a lot more people on St. Patrick's Day. emoticon

Alright, back to work I go. I just wanted to let all yas know that I still have a pulse, but it's just been a really crazy couple of weeks...but it's temporary and there is some relief in sight.

Feeling very sad today. Hit a deer on the way home from my massage last night, and I saw the broken body in daylight this morning as I drove the car to the shop to get the minor damage fixed. So many emotions last night. It started when I walked in the door after work to DH's announcement that he had been called to fly today, and he guilted me into giving a presentation for him tonight. Then, after I got home from the massage (which I could not enjoy since my brain was working furiously on the presentation), shaking and upset, I found the trash still hadn't been collected and put out, and there were gross dishes all over the counter and sink with grease and caked-on food, while he sat on a telcon...after being home all day yesterday. The house was not filled with joy last night.

My body is still recovering from a hard-push run this Saturday. I always spend a few days swollen/sore/bloated after a run like that, so I haven't looked at the scale since then. I finally looked today and I'm at 155 still so that's good. I'm still hoping to make it to a healthy BMI (154) by my birthday this Friday, but I'm not sure it'll happen. That's okay though - I'm holding steady at 100 lbs lost now, so I'm okay with that. I got in a good 10 hours of sleep last night (yay!) and have some good workouts planned for today!

Yes! The sounds of spring are on this board! I'm thinking about roller blades too. I don't own a pair but my kids have been talking about it. If I get them a pair, I'm buying them for myself too!

Big Paws... you don't have to leave us to lose the 15. Stay close!

Vtricia... you made me LOL! All that serious stuff to end it all with a Shutterfly coupon!

Too many BIG problems looming... the sequestration, if not halted, will take my husband's job. I'm trying not to think about it. Instead I'm thinking about how great I feel back into my routine. No more injury! Yay! I'm taking a new approach to lose the holiday 10... taking measurements. Over 3 years in weight loss and 8 months in maintenance and I've never taken measurements. Now I really have something to get excited about!

Good morning team!

The whole family is home today for another snow day. Trying to fight off the cabin fever. I may go in to the office later this afternoon as I have a lot of work to do!

Nutrition and workouts have been good. Being home makes me want to snack all day. Have been drinking extra water and hot tea to keep from grazing. Our treadmill is on it's last leg. We ordered a new one yesterday. But it won't be here until 3/14 :/

Hello all. New here to the team. I have been on spark now for 6 years and I am working to get back to where I was last year. I allowed myself to put a few this past year and it is time to get back. So very happy to see a team like this which looks perfect for where I am in my journey.

Thanks. Hope you all have a beautiful day!

I hope you get back to your happy weight soon, Kitty! I'm at work early after dropping my husband off by the marina. Today he's taking his boat to the shipyard to find out how much work it really needs. I told him to send me a message when he arrives. The weather is good, so he should be fine. Still, I'll be happier when I know he's on dry land! My weight is up a pound since yesterday, 2 pounds from weigh-in weight. I need to start being stricter with myself, though I know that much of this is bloat. I would have been OK on calories yesterday if I hadn't had a vanilla spice latte, but I've been thinking about one for weeks. Also, dinner was fatty because I was feeling lazy and decided on breakfast for dinner--bacon, eggs and hashbrowns. Today's another day! emoticon

Hi all. I'm not going to be here for a while. I don't think up 15lbs in 2 months is maintenance. I need to get back on track. Thanks for the support.

Good morning, gorgeous guys and dolls!

I had a great day both nutrition- and fitness-wise. Sleep was another story. For the past two nights I just could not go to sleep without waking up every 15 minutes. That rarely happens. Usually I go right to sleep, but wake up a few times during the night. I'm not sure what is going on, but I am totally exhausted from last of quantity and quality of sleep. I may try to stay up a little later tonight to make sure I'm really tired, and maybe I can at least get the quality part.

Have a great day... all those in the paths of severe weather, stay safe!

The sounds of spring with all of your plans! Have a fun day SP lovelies!
Today I will be joining in with our first ever "Parent Participation PE" - I figured it was the perfect excuse to see what my 6th graders are up to during this time when I am typically grading lab reports, get in some fitness minutes, and better yet, I get to wear comfort clothes!

I'm down a lb. this morning. I'd like to drop 1 more, but I'm not in any hurry to do it. I figure come summer I'll drop a few due to being able to do my workouts outside plus training for races will help.

Wow Maree, your schedule is tough. I'm sure it was enjoyable downtime with the babies. Tortoise, I have been thinking about looking for my roller blades for over a year! Maybe I'll finally do it and have them ready when we get nice weather.

Phebess, I'm so glad to see you recovering so well!

Irene, we didn't get to the will stuff last nigh. DH said 'how bout tomorrow' and I gladly went along. I was just firm with him, it gets done tonight. You are right, it's important.

I hope everyone had a good day and those of us in this nasty weather stay safe!

PHEBESS, way to go. I bet it feels great to be moving again! And Maree, hope you catch up on the sleep you need.

I'm thinking of digging out my in line skates. I used to be good, still have the skates and have a good circle of black top to do it on. So with my pads, I'm thinking, why the heck not? I have some travel ahead this week so can't get to it until weekend after next, but I'm on it.

Feeling playful, I guess!

Good morning. I woke up too early to the sound of icy rain hitting the windows. ugh. I'm making a cup of hot peppermint tea and drank a half cup almond milk to see if I can get back to sleep. Yesterday was so busy at work I barely got a chance to eat the lunch and snacks I had packed, and then we had company stop in last night unexpectedly, friends with 3 mo. old twins--so sweet. They were there when I got home from the office so dinner was kind of sparse. It seems like I don't sleep well if I don't get enough calories. Not that I felt hungry going to bed.

I'll get to the gym by 5:00 for 30 min treadmill incline interval work and 60 min pilates. Lots of lean meat, raw broccoli and salad in frig to pack a good lunch--busy day at work.

I finally made peace with the scale and it wasn't as bad as I anticipated.

I hope everyone has a great day and is safe on the roads.
