Michelle, I too want to congratulate you on your maintenance anniversary! WooHoo!
Had a potentially stressful day, with my 11 children and grandchildren here. I usually freak out and head for food to soothe me through the perceived ordeal, but the kids were so well behaved and we were all together for the last time we will get to be for the next 2.5 years. So it's been bittersweet. Right now they are all out around the fire pit and I plan to join them!

Doing good today and staying active . . . just nothing structured. Yet. It is a BEAUTIFUL day in Indiana--just cold. Good day for a fast brisk walk -- next on my agenda. Had a bad food day on Thursday--ate a breakfast pizza to start off with and a ton of peanuts and apple cobbler ended it. Surprisingly, two days later I am back to 133. I think I am getting the hang of the ebb and flow of 'relaxed' eating as long as I am not too relaxed. I've been back on track for 2 and now into 3 days to make up for the 2500+/- calorie day. I enjoy the flexibility, however I am always hyper-concerned that if I lose control, even for a meal, if I will be able to regain control. So far, so good. Almost 3 months into maintenance.

Had a great day yesterday! Thanks for all the maintenance congrats!! Had lunch at Mexican--grilled shrimp and salad with avocado --so good, but it was apparently loaded with sodium--fingers swelled up so my too big rings were tight, and I was up one pound today--pretty sure it's because of the sodium. Have a great day!!

Tried a new recipe last night: Per person, pour 1 tsp balsamic vinegar on a thick slice of onion. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes, then sprinkle on 1 tsp chopped walnuts and 1 tsp crumbled blue cheese. Bake another 5 minutes or until the cheese melts. Found it on one of the SP blogs this week and really wanted to try it. Then DH brought home smoky blue cheese...I am in heaven! We're going to use the leftover chicken from last night to make a lunch salad with the smoky blue, chopped walnuts, and fresh blueberries.

Brooklyn--I agree singing a concert is a lot of work! In my women's choir we go off and come back on between sets rather than having an intermission, so we get more chances to move and take a swig from our water bottles. I'm kind of sore this morning from crawling around the boat and scrubbing woodwork in the cold. Today's agenda: church, pick up my meat shares and watching the Oscars. In between, who knows! I woke up tired this morning from a night of restless sleep. The Dr. changed some of my meds a bit, so I think may be the culprit.. Other than that.. I'm proofing my sourdough rye for baking later today.. it sat for 24 hours in the fridge to develop more flavour.. Having an oven again is wonderful!
Today is walk the dogs and yoga day, and I'm glad.. yoga is a whole lot easier than stationary bike on tired days!

Morning everyone! I am feeling much better than I was yesterday (saline nasal spray works wonders!), though the scale let me know that I worked out less than usual this last week and had a couple of days of higher intake on my calories. I'm not worried about it, though. This morning I am going to get back on track. In a little bit here I'll be putting some blueberry muffins in the oven and doing some Bollywood dancing. It's official. I have a sick kid. Fever and a nasty cough. DH and I both have a busy week. May have to see if my mother-in-law can sit with her. And a snowstorm is supposed to be coming in tonight. Ugh!
Eating breakfast and drinking coffee. Need to get some housework done today and some exercise. Everyone have a great day!

Mornin everyone. Congrats Michelle! I can't wait until I can say I've maintained for a year. Today is three months for me. This is the longest I've maintained a weight loss in 20 years! Thanks to you guys! I enjoy checking in with you every day. Keeps me focused.
Yesterday I did a brisk frigid 10 min walk with the dog, then SP 10 min cardio kickbox, then the SP 10 min cardio jump start, then the 6 min butt blaster videos. I was a sweaty mess!
After all that and the run on Friday, my muscles need a rest day. I'm curling up with my book and coffee here shortly. I hope everyone has a great day. I wish I could hear all of your performances.

Another concert this afternoon. My family will be attending this performance. Last night went well. No workout planned. Standing still for 80 minutes is harder than running.

Good morning!!! Great sunshiney day yesterday. I enjoyed our coffee clatch, running errands and then started work on the income tax return. Ugh. I would rather have been in the audience listening to singing and music being made by all my teammates. Such talent! I worked on my new piano piece too.
Today more sunshine is predicted so I hope to go outside for my fitness minutes after church this morning.
Congrats to Michelle for her one year anniversary. Great accomplishment!
