Hi all, I walked the dogs seven times today at 15 minutes each time. It is really cold and windy outside today. The dogs eyes water so we can not stay outside for very long. My Mom and I went to Tai Chi and practiced for 50 minutes. The cool weather outside makes me feel sad. I want to eat more instead of less but will stick to the plan. Best wishes, Linda from bean town

Exercised a lot yesterday but not so much today. Was going to bike before my hubby got home from work but got involved in thanking SparkFriends for all the birthday and maintenance anniversary wishes and goodies sent my way. Took me a long time and now that I've visited all the threads I usually write on on my teams, he is about to walk in the door. If there's nothing going on this evening I will run upstairs after supper settles in my stomach and ride for a half hour or so.

The snow is heading our way too!
Otherwise, today has gone well with my eating, although, I did have one piece of candy. Hopefully, I will not pig out when I get home. I should be able to start working out again soon. (leg is healing very well). I do alot better with clean eating, when I work out. Not sure why.

Watching the snow fall! They cancelled schools and even the college today due to the forecast of up to 10 inches. I've been cleaning house and doing laundry. All the kids are home as is the husband, so it's a nice family day!

Hi all! Busy seems to be the theme for me this week, hardly time to log on lately. I've been having fun with a bellydancing class on Wednesday nights, but I will be glad when it's over, too, so I don't have three or four nights in a row out. I am getting in my exercise, though, and staying on track with food, so the scale has been kind. Almost to the weekend, have a great day!

Morning everyone...got a busy day today, work from 1-10 and need to get to the church during lunch to do a little programming of the lights. Somehow need to get the cogs taken care of then too....wish me luck! Shorter day tomorrow. Get to sleep in just a bit, but little sis will be coming in and then we'll go visit the older sister after work. Hope everyone is doing well.

Looking forward to the "big storm" set to begin later today and spill into tomorrow--working for school that means a likely 3 day weekend! Tomorrow is my sweetie's Birthday--I haven't gotten him anything yet, and it's making me nuts that I'm not inspired by something simple, yet fantastic!! He likes simple :) I baked him a chocolate cake last night--just have to frost it yet today--he's part of the county road crew, so his day tomorrow will be a busy and long one :) He'll just be disappointed that it's not a day later and he'd be working on Saturday earning time off for better weather. Took the kids with me to the Y yesterday. It's nice to have them come too, even though I enjoy a solitary workout quite nicely too. They kept me accountable tho--I was ready to skip it for the day, because I was still so sore from Monday's Yoga Meltdown with Jillian ( I had replaced the usual weights with a home workout, so I didn't have to drive in to the gym) Those Goddess squats are freaking brutal the next day (or two)!

Back to work. I didn't get everything done I'd planned, but did get the cat's teeth cleaned and the tax stuff to the accountant. I made the mistake of buying a bag of pistachios at Costco and yesterday completely lost control. I'm sure I ate at least a cup full, maybe more. Maybe now I can ration the rest to the 30g serving size.

I'm not ready to brave the cold yet. The treadmill will do for now especially since I had a blood test yesterday to confirm that I'm a bit anemic. The treadmill inside is my security.
I'm finally back down to goal weight. I feel much better now even though 1 lb really doesn't make a diff.

Morning all! Today is the day of my big conference presentation! I'm definitely feeling nervous - woke up with butterflies in my stomach - but on the other hand, I'm starting to enter the no fear zone I get into when I know that something scary is unavoidable. I already know there are going to be a lot of friends in the audience, though, and I've gotten a lot of positive feedback from both people who have seen this presentation or have seen me do other presentations in the past, so I know that if I just go in there and do it, it will be a good time.

Ha, ha! I'm barely brave enough to walk to the end of the driveway for the paper! Seriously, I need to stop complaining about the cold when we're in the 20s, but the wind chill makes it feel like 10. I could "do" cold, sunny, and no wind, but I'm a wimp in the wind.
Teleworking today and ST with my trainer this afternoon. Just realized when I got here that I passed the nine-month maintenance mark on Tuesday. Looking forward to that magic one-year point in May.
