Having a few low stress days, and as a result my eating has remained under control.
Slept better the past couple of nights, too, because I worked out more than I had been. It's not like I'm doing lots, but I am getting fresh air and burning more calories than I had been with all the distractions of our house guests. They will be here for 8 more days. But now that they have been here for 3.5 weeks, I'm finally getting smart and making time to work out. It's important for them to see that I am committed to my health.

I feel like I'm in recharging mode, too. I can already see that even the extra two days off aren't going to be enough to get as much done as I wanted, but some is better than none, and rest time is important, too. I need to remember that even though it was positive, the reunion with my brother was still a big stressor.

Getting off to a good start today, but really blew it last night. For some reason I my appetite is out of control. I think it will get better, once I get back to my workouts (have pulled muscle) next week (hopefully).
MJZHERE, I seldom use the scale. I lost weight, but then put some on (without gaining inches-due to muscle gain), so I go my measurements only now-except for those doctor visits.
I am good at working out (when I am healthy), but my diet is constant struggle for me. I am a chipaholic.

Dropping the weight I put on - I know it is water weight, etc. but still the scale was hitting a higher number each time. Have decided on a specific number for goal and a much closer range (2 lbs up) as otherwise I am concerned about how much I let myself climb above. Really struggling with almost any kind of activity (other than cleaning). My body seems so tired and after two months of illness, maybe it is tired. Won't feel guilty today - raining out - so will finish getting rooms ready for company coming in a few weeks. The up side is I am still staying very organized, getting lots done around the house.

dont have alot planned for today.... gonna be just a cardio day at the gym.... but also have a back massage planned.... then laundromat to wash a couple comforters.... then home to clean and cook .... not alot...

Morning all! About to head off to Day 1 of a conference. I don't present until Day 2, so fortunately all I have to do today is be there and look nice. =) Packed a lunch and snack already so I won't need to buy anything there. Have a great day everyone!

SOOO ready for spring! Another frigid day, but at least no work. Got a load of laundry in and sitting at the table drinking coffee and putting together the todo/shopping list for the day. Got most all of the "junk" food out of the house. If it isn't around I won't eat it!

I love reading about all the different activities you've done or have planned. I missed checking in the last 2 days and today nothing much physical. It's my spiritual/mental workout day. 11:00 Service at a nursing home 12:00 Lenten Luncheon 2:00 Christian Ministries Board Meeting (I'm the new treasurer) 4:00 Check progress of the meal for the Lenten Supper 5:30-7:00 Lenten Supper (I'm facilitating the program) I'm glad I wrote this down. I just saw a 19 minute "arms" video spotlighted. Maybe I can work that in somewhere.

Last night my trainer put me through ab torture, then pulled out this contraption, looked like he was going to hook me up for a bungee jump. It was TRX suspension training. It was SO hard but SO awesome.
Definitely need a rest day today! Just some walking breaks at work.
