Happy Valentine's Day! I left a card and a dark chocolate bar for my beloved this morning. I expect flowers. I made a special meal on Tuesday, so when I asked him what he wanted for Valentine's dinner he said, "Leftover lamb!" So that's what we'll have, with some freshly roasted vegetables. Lots of treats around work today. I only said yes to the one's that my coworkers make themselves--a chocolate dipped strawberry and a chocolate almond truffle.

I've made it through this V-day without buying any candy. I will have to resist looking at and buying the discounted after V-day candy.
Decided that since I'm having trouble getting two ST workouts in each week, I have started to record them for a streak. I made the time today to do a 20 minute circuit ST workout.

Well, I'll add my Happy Valentine's Day to everyone else! I'm starting to try and focus on maintaining! It's been a hectic week with travel, norovirus, family, and more. I haven't worked out in a week. Once I'm done here, I'm hopping off to do a quick workout and try to get back into the swing of things. I'm starting to think that it's time I seriously plan a training schedule for my two spring half marathons... so I'm also going to need to take a trip to the doctor next week to get all ready for that.
I have a chicken to roast with some root veggies and a salad. I'm going to make a dessert with some phyllo dough, nutella, and strawberries. Last year, I planned a super fancy dinner and as I was carving the meat, the steaks fell off the cutting board, smooshed into smitherens, the cat jumped into instantly and there was no recovering it... so I'm just hoping for better than that! :)
Imperfection is important. If we were all perfect, then there would be no such thing as growth, and everyone would be extremely boring, which is, paradoxically, not that perfect.-- Dr. Matt

Congratulations to all of you Sparklers who are celebrating maintenance anniversaries.. that is such a great accomplishment.
Happy Valentines day to those who make it special..
I still have no oven, the tech couldn't figure out the problem and the part that ticks me off is it is an expensive GE profile convection oven and I'm ready to throw in the towel and go back to an old fashioned lower cost variety!!! My husband is going over the wiring himself as it has power, the stovetop works, but just isn't get enough voltage to power the oven... so frustrating!!

Good morning everyone, and Happy Valentine's Day! My darling sweetie has a lovely meal of grilled steak and squash and possibly asparagus planned for us tonight. I have a visitation for the father of one of my childhood friends to attend after work tonight, and I'm hoping to get into my WW meeting for my Feb weigh in--as long as I keep my eating light today until then--I should be within my window, but I plan to talk to him about increasing it a bit in light of the new medication I'm on. Have a great day everyone!!

I have speedwork on the schedule today. So to be precise about speed I need a treadmill. Maybe I'll suck it up and see how high I can push that thing. As my daughter says "you can do anything for 2 minutes" Well, maybe 1 minute. We will see.
Happy Valentines Day, everyone!

Happy Valentine's day! Happy Anniversary to the anniversary sparkers!
My husband and I do not do Hallmark Holidays. Since I am heading out of town for work this afternoon and won't be back till tomorrow night, I left him a card and his favorite candy where he will find it tonight .
I need to get back on track, I've been slacking off on logging lately. I've been mindful of my eating and activity but I'm losing steam on my diligence. I'm bringing my ipad with me so I can do a spark people working in my hotel room tonight and tomorrow morning before the meeting.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
Valentine's Day is my 1st Spark-versary. I'm not sure why I started on this holiday, but I did and I'm glad.
I will hang out with my Valentine today AND take some time for a shopping excursion to buy a few new spring things. This is my day to celebrate!

Happy Valentine's Day! We moved to a new guest house in Melbourne (the previous one was booked for this week, so we found somewhere else - we hadn't planned to stay this long but the medical stuff is dragging out) - anyway, we explored our new neighborhood and got a lot of steps that way.
DH took me out for a lovely dinner - I ordered the Thai beef salad (yummy!) so I had tons of vegs, lean beef, and enough calories left for a small slice of cake as a treat.
And I bought flowers for us, so we have lovely hyacinths in our room!

Good morning and happy Valentine's Day! DH purchased lobster and steak and has a really nice dinner planned and there's two cards laying on the counter, one from him and one from the animals addressed to "mom". I haven't opened them yet. I have a fish-shaped chocolate bar for him, says something like "he reeled me in". lol I'm kinda surprised he's getting into the holiday this year. I can't say I'm too excited, except I found the cutest book for my granddaughter so I am excited to give it to her tomorrow when she and her mommy arrive.
Exercise was great yesterday. I didn't get all my nutrition tracked, but it was such a busy day I didn't eat all my lunch that I had packed. So at 2 a.m. I heard Huckleberry (our lab) rustling around and he'd gotten in my briefcase and pulled out my leftover pork loin--unsuccessfully I might add. But then I couldn't get back to sleep, so only 6 hrs again last night. Busy day ahead.
Headed out for the long walk with fitness buddy and puppy dogs at 4:45 am. Hope to get a lunch time walk in, too, to take advantage of some pretty nice weather.
Hope you all feel some love today!!
