Had an active healthy day fueled by a good breakfast, walked Downtown Dunedin,spent time at Pioneer Park where the local Art Guild had a showing, then hit the Palm Harbor Farmers Market, did some more shopping, then a bit of strength training at home, fueled up, then 50 minutes of cardio in the early evening followed by more strength training! All the time I was careful not to aggravate my knee as we have the Gasparilla Half Marathon in 2 weeks! Just living a healthy lifestyle! THAT's the real secret!

It's been a good weekend. Stayed in the calorie range. I only walked "casually" yesterday, but I consider it my day off. Today I did weight training and lots of stairs doing laundry. Cleaning at home and at the barn. Overall I'm satisfied.
Spent a couple of hours fighting off an urge to binge. I'm glad this day is almost over. Looking forward to my son and his family getting back from his in-law's for this past week. He'll be here for another 19 days.

Home from out camping in rv and quaading for the week - my birthday present. Have had some kind of flu/cold since Dec and I hear many others having a hard time throwing it off. Did get eating back under control since careful to only take certain things and plan meals in rv (except for splurge of icecream and cake yesterday with all of family - so nice to have kids, grandkids all here for my birthday). Lazy day as I slowly get back into the swing of things - and I mean slowly.
I ran 11.2 miles this morning, followed by a brutal spin class (the weekend spin instructor at my gym is truly the Marquis de Sade reincarnated). I can barely walk, but I did get an epsom salt bath in. I'm taking it easy on the couch for a little bit before I have to finish getting ready to go to brunch with some girlfriends. We're going to the restaurant at the local art museum, so I'll take advantage of my membership and not only get a discount off my meal but check out the current temporary exhibit afterwards before heading back home.
Food has been horrible this weekend. Fortunately, I have my first therapy session on Tuesday, so we'll see what comes out of that. I'm not expecting miracles, but it will be good to be able to hash out some of what's going on with me.
Time to get some more water into my system and get ready for brunch. Have a great rest of the day, everyone!

Happy Sunday all! Just finished my morning Bollywood dancing and a muffin that was baking in the oven in the meantime. I, for the first time in a very great while, have no obligations today, so I intend to take full advantage of it. Hope all of you have some fun today too!
My plans have been up-ended today. I have to spend the day by my dad's for his wife's birthday. I'll fit something in somewhere.

A quick check in before heading to church. We're singing both services today which means "snacks" in between services. I'm taking a rhubarb cake. I was able to post a loss this morning to the challenge...I'm getting back down to that goal number, slowly but surely! Foggy here this morning. Time to grab my coffee and hit the road!
good morning from molokai - weather here is perfect. still. 70s during the day, 60s at night. still windy. yesterday we took it easy after the hike the day before, and "only" walked 7 miles. weird when 7 miles is a low mileage day, but there you have it. part of the walk was on the beach, sloshing through the water at the edge.
we had dinner at a restaurant with friends, and then a net flick when we got home. simple life. good life.
work today - but we'll be walking too.

Good morning team! I love reading everyone's weather updates. It has such a huge impact on our day. Especially those of us who love to exercise outdoors. The wind was nasty here yesterday. The sky had a lovely brown hue from all the dust blowing. Needless to say, I did not go out for my workout!
I did get all my dinners planned for the week and groceries bought. Got in 45 minutes of strength training and my muscles are pleasantly sore this morning. I must've been tired, because movie watching with DH turned into me sleeping on the couch all evening!
I'm making dinner for everyone tonight for my sister-in-law's birthday. That's my thing. I love cooking for my family for their birthday. And they love it too. Best part, DH always does the dishes! Need to take the girls to pick out valentines cards for their class sometime today. Will also get some cardio today.

Hey Tortoise, I've got a son near Boston too (Lexington).
Yesterday I did the 8 miles that I planned, outside my house in 1/2 mile loops.
That accomplished 2 things. I could keep track of my pace and if I got too cold, it wasn't far to just go home. Sometimes it helps to have an exit plan.
Sunday is always my "take it easy" day - a 2-4 mile stroll to stretch out my legs and relax.

Happy Sunday. We are home again and back to chilly weather, but no snow. We got photos from our son near Boston and boy, it IS a winter wonderland. He and his wife were prepared though and are having fun in the snow with their two daughters. Snowman, sledding, grill cooking. Sounds all good except for trying to keep the driveway plowed!
Back from vacation and I am looking forward to a day of routine exercise, the grocery store and some simple cooking to start the week.

I've decided I'm not "tasting" (read sharing!) chips or fries with DH anymore - I'm seeing chub in the middle that had gone away. So those items are now on my "no thank you" list.
Calories in range today, walked 13,000+ steps, enjoyed a street fair and music festival. Fun day!

Hi on a wet Sunday morning. I am contented with my progress over the last week , I stay determined I will not regain weight which took so long to lose!
My dh Is not in good health so I must stay well in body and mind now,
We go to our sons most weeks for Sunday lunch. A reminder to myself to enjoy the company but do not give in to the tempting desserts on offer. ,

Good Sunday morning! Yesterday was a good day. Sunshine finally showed up mid-afternoon and Jonie (the shepherd/golden retreiver mix) and I went for a run. She accompanied me on a bunch of errands, too. I love the feeling of pride and satisfaction when I find items on my shopping list at a bargain. The big black lab, Huckleberry, went hunting with DH. I made stuffed green peppers and DH did some grilling so we have good choices for the week ahead.
ONEWEIGH, that's great about your brother--I hope all goes well with the reunion. Friends on the east coast, I hope you all have power and can dig out.
We have rain in the forecast so I might have to go to the gym. I'd rather exercise outdoors on weekends, but we shall see. Church this morning, a briefcase of work to tackle, pants to hem for my daughter, Sunday paper to read and piano to play for enjoyment--all on the agenda today.
