I've been eating out a lot the last few days, but have been trying to keep it in check and get my exercise in. I'll weigh tomorrow. Hoping for a better week this week. Had a pretty good food day and went to spin class. Hope everyone had a great day!

Having a good day with exercise and eating. But my dad ended up in the hospital with a heart problem and is in danger of a stroke. I can't go to him, as far as I can tell. Doesn't look like we have the funds. I hope he is going to be ok. My brother and his wife are with mom and dad. But my brother will have to get back to work eventually. Thought I'd as you all for prayers! Thanks!

Happy Monday, everyone! Good day yesterday (a 9-mile run does wonders for the body and mind both), now to make today good as well, though it no doubt won't be nearly as active. The biggest issue for me is I'm usually a little extra hungry the day after a long run, while I'm not nearly as active that day.

Enjoying one more day of errands and such, and an evening with my favorite ladies. Made chocolate dipped mini pretzels, and a yogurt pumpkin bread for the treats. Tomorrow, I will have one last day off before returning to work with nothing scheduled or to do except catching up on the household chores....and I need that. Nutrition this weekend was pretty darned good, even with my little sis over and the Superbowl. It always helps when I do the cooking and can control the ingredients, or at least know how much damage each item can do. Hope everyone has a great week.

I ate too much yesterday and I'm tired today. The game delay... ugh. My snack choices last night were modified recipes and they turned out pretty darn yummy.
I haven't had a good workout since Friday morning but I have a terrible cramp in my left thigh. It doesn't feel like a muscle cramp... it feels different. I skipped my morning workout because of it. I tried stretching it out last night and this morning to no avail. Hmmmm.

Overate during the Super Bowl, but the snacks were on the healthier side of junk. Lentil chips with black eyed pea hummus, for example. I made meat and no meat chili but our vegetarian didn't show, so only a bit of the veg chili was eaten. That means I don't have to think about what my lunches will be this week! My mother-in-law actually went to the fridge to get another bowl of the meat chili after I'd put it away. I'm tired this morning. I'm going to work on making this a less stressful week. The stressors might not be any less, but I'm going to try not to let them get to me so much.

I got up early and did a workout off of the Coach Nicole's Total Body Sculpting dvd. It was fun and challenging. Now eating my overnight oats and drinking coffee before I get the crew up. Going to be a busy day here. Everyone have a great day.

Good to hear you are taking care of your health, PHEBESS, and I hope all goes well with your doctor today. I think noticing that the worry in this might be causing emotional eating is great awareness.
We had company until late last night because of the game delay at the Super Bowl. I'm starting the week a bit tired. So I'm starting slowly this morning, but I know I'll get into the swing of the day after a decent breakfast and starting work.

Calories are over (I'm still putting it in the tracker, but I know I am, just don't know by how much) and only 3 miles of walking. Not the best day. Probably emotional eating due to dr visit tomorrow re my "wee lump" that was found - not looking forward to the specialist I see tomorrow. Or the news. (I know it isn't serious - I just don't know what the treatment will entail, i.e. is surgery indicated.)

Good morning! Hope all the SuperBowl folks enjoyed their parties and the game. I sure enjoyed the sunshine all day yesterday, a pretty good day all in all. I'm headed to the gym for 30 min of interval treadmill and 60 min ST class. I have some good leftovers to pack in my lunch. Lots to do at work, a very busy day ahead.
