My toe still hurts a lot but I wasn't as sedentary as yesterday. And I've had like 8 freggies today. My internet was down this morning but I recorded my food on my PDA. I just now realized it's 7 weeks maintenance today!
Losers Keepers Motivation for Maintenance:
I have a diagnostic mammogram/ultrasound tomorrow afternoon. My hubby will come with me. My gyn found a lump so that's why the ultrasound. I've been doing pretty good at not freaking out about it, though it is concerning because of a history of breast cancer a few generations ago in my family. Anyone out there who prays, I wouldn't mind a few prayers said for me!

Ate in range, didn't fit in as much walking as I'd hoped - we're flying out today and had stuff to do. (So much stuff, we misread the time we leave, LOL! Oh well, at least it turned out to be later than we thought, NOT earlier!)

This stressed-out thing is getting tiresome! Work continues crazy, I've got too many things scheduled and still more things to schedule, my stupid car tells me my tire pressure is off but the tires all seem OK. Oh, and it was decided last evening that we're hosting the family Super Bowl party. I might have to go back on my vow not to buy any groceries in January! Or I could get really creative...
Good morning team. I'm home with a sick kiddo this morning. Going to get caught up on some housework and do some strength training later. Weight is still coming back down from my weekend indulgences. It is coming down faster than I expected. I've been under goal for a while. Thinking about changing my goal weight :D

Good Morning everyone
I love all the postive posts and they certainly motivate me to keep on exercising and eating well. My wrists are really hurting with arthritis lately due to extra cleaning I've been doing around the house the past couple of days. It's not easy to clean with wrist braces, but I try and end up flinging them off and then paying for it the next day.
Today is a shopping morning and then I hope to get in an hour of Yoga later on. I had a great spinning session yesterday and I'm starting to feel stronger in the legs. It's actually getting easier!!

Good morning, everyone!
Had a great spin class last night, followed by some abs work. Will do upper and lower body strength training tonight (swam 1.5 km this morning), followed by a little bit of either elliptical or riding the bike...I haven't decided which I want to do yet.
Food is much more in control. I'm keeping it at about 2,000 calories a day and just trying to figure out my maintenance range. I've ramped up my protein intake especially so that I can continue to have everything I need to build strong muscles.
I also got my membership stuff for the Memphis Runners and Track Club the other day, so I'm official! Can't wait to do the Road Series this year! WOOHOO!

My heavy resistance band is definitely a kick in the pants, but I am feeling stronger for sure. I'm doing core exercises with it this morning. I've got to start going to bed earlier so I do not wake up so late, but fortunately my job is flexible enough that I have some leeway with when I go in - fortunately, since I don't want lack of sleep to be an excuse to miss a workout.
I'm looking forward to breakfast this morning too - I have gotten hooked on putting a little peanut butter into my oatmeal before zapping it in the microwave - so delicious! Plus it helps me get my protein.

Good morning! I already got my morning workout in, though it was just a barefoot cardio routine since I am feeling pretty dang sore from yesterday's Peak10 workout. Being a cardio queen makes me forget how important it is to do strength training, until I finally start doing it and my muscles start yelling, "WHY?!" =P
I tried something new for breakfast instead of a protein bar with Teecchino and blueberries like I had been doing. Instead, I whipped up a tofu scramble with onion, bell peppers, cayenne, grape seed oil vegannaise, nutritional yeast and mashed avocado on a flatbread. It sounds a little crazy, but it was actually super delicious and a welcome change of pace! There's nothing like food boredom to encourage you to get your diet derailed. Gotta try something new! Since my weekly weigh-in this morning has me right at goal weight, I guess I'm doing ok. I hope everyone has a great day today!

Lots of interesting news this morning! Good idea to be planning for SuperBowl snacks and I like the chicken crock pot idea--sounds easy and yummy. A good combination. Some great workouts and mates dealing with, well, "life" and its messiness. All is well with me,I'm sleeping better, scale is stuck on the same number, which I guess says something about my body's choice of weight, and it is the weight the Dukan Diet says is my "true weight." Kinda weird, actually.

After 22.1 miles in the last 4 days it's time for a cardio rest day. I do plan a half hour of weights this afternoon so I don't get out of the habit, but that's it!

I had a great night with my trainer! After the ab and upper body torture he put me through, he had a arge punching bag laying on the floor, had me lift up one end of it, flip it forward two times one way, two times back, repeat three times!! Not sure if you can picture that. i was amazed I did it! I felt slightly hard core haha.
Today will be a rest day, just two walking breaks at work. I hurt all over! I hope you all have a great day.

Good morning team. We'll, the upheaval in my life seems to be evening out a bit, but not without it's distruction. Now a quarter pound over goal. Sugar is the culprit. Need to keep it out of the house for a while and get back to clean eating. Getting back to a fitness routine will help to. Busy day today and tomorrow and then a long weekend to get a plan in place.

I had to do food shopping this morning. I put chicken in the crock pot, added a tin of tomatoes and veg soup, it's great to come home to a ready to eat tasty meal

Morning! I have early work today, but am thinking of y'all as I have my first cup of coffee and put together my plans for both movement and work. Also need a menu for Super Bowl which for here in the Eastern Time Zone must be dinner--an easier meal to make healthy than lots of snacks.
