Yes I am tying to get back to normal now I am not housebound. I hope to walk each day as well as do my home exercises, I have my personal targets to aim for, Interesting tv documentary last night on weight watchers,. Cost came into it dieters alarmed to be told every pound lost had cost them huge amounts in money . WW works but a great number of people didnt learn much, they put the weight back on again once they left the WW. I plod on my own now I have been there done that with clubs , does anyone still attend a slimming club on maintainence ? Ree

Stressed out. I have house guests for a month. It's only been 4 days and I'm frazzled. I'm going to take some me time tomorrow, Somehow.
Eating has been ok all but one of these days and I'm hardly getting any exercise. Something has to change.

Happy Monday, all! Finally feel like I'm getting fully back to a normal routine after getting back from vacation last week. Made it to the gym for a nice 4+ mile run on the treadmill and to work on time (I'm bad, tend to waltz in just a couple of minutes late much of the time). The week is off to a good start; here's to continuing the trend!

Happy Monday! After being trapped in the house yesterday with ice storms all around, it was nice to see all the ice gone this morning and to get out in the sunshine.
Going to try to enjoy it the next couple of days before cold air moves in again.

There wasn't so much snow this morning, but they haven't plowed the roads. Even the artery to the freeway was totally white. I got stuck on the hill going to the middle school and the kids had to get out and push. I guess it's trash day and there can be a big variation in how much snow they see different places.
After my anxiety attack earlier this week I decided to bag calorie cycling for the rest of the winter. Yesterday was the first Sunday I didn't eat extra calories in many months. I worried it would be hard, but I made it through okay.
enjoyed my daughter Olivia's 1st grade play this morning after having a helathy breakfast. I didn't eat very healthy or exercise much this past weekend. My son is home today b/c he has a fever :( Taking my oldest to the ENT DR. this afternoon.

Good morning. Tummy ache this morning, attributable to bad nutrition choices yesterday I'm sure. It was 48 degrees here this morning, so instead of the treadmill routine, I ran outside and then took the 60 min ST class. It's a pure protein day today otherwise. I've already had two pink pepto chalky tablets, and about to chomp down some more if I don't feel better soon. Happy Monday to all.

Tortise, I get ya about cleaning things up. That will be my project for this week.
The weekend SUCKED as far as food. I ate and ate and ate at trivia night on Saturday night, then cleaned out the fridge a bit too much yesterday. Gained 6 pounds, though I'm sure most of that was due to a LOT of sodium this weekend, so I'm hoping that will go down, now that I'm going back to normal eating. This is my most stressful time of the year (January and February), and it doesn't help that I'm a stress eater. My first therapy appointment is on February 12, so hopefully I'll be able to work with this therapist and figure out other ways to cope other than food and exercise.
So Saturday, my long run ended up being a little over 14 miles. I walked about 7 miles and did strength training yesterday and swam for 2 kilometers this morning. Tonight, I go to a happy hour Match.com Stir event in Downtown Memphis, so we'll see if I hit it off with anyone, but at the very least, I know I'll have a little fun flirting...and I'll make sure that I stick to club soda/seltzer water as my drink of choice. :)
Up early for Ripped in 30 dvd. Staff meeting this morning before school. DH has to take the dog to the vet for surgery on his eye, and I am hoping the weather is nice enough that I can get some stairs in at lunch. Wishing everyone a great Monday.

Happy Monday! I'm feeling more motivated than usual for a Monday after getting a bunch of much-needed things done around the house - having that sense of accomplishment really increases my productivity! I'm about to do one of my more challenging ST workouts with my heavier resistance band - we'll see how that goes.

Mild temps today but very icey roads. Did some intervals on the treadmill yesterday and I'll probably have to get on it again today. Kids have a 2 hr school delay this morning also so that's going to put me bit behind.

Got to get to the gym early this morning to get MY treadmill. Last Monday I was relegated to one of the old ones and I hated it. Then aerobics/weights class. I can run before class, but afterwards doesn't feel right.

Icky yuch weather and ice storms here yesterday....and busy, busy, busy! Had lighting @ church 7-12:45 and my sis' tenant's heat went out and with her in the rehab, we had to deal with that, visit her and grab a bite to eat. went over nutritionally, but bound to stay on track this week. Finding it easier when it is just me uring the week. Just have to keep myself from getting too tired. Working 7-4 Mon-Thurs this week before the long weekend. Lighting practice Thurs night. Going to try to swing by the rehab after work Mon-Tues-Wed. Sorry to say, but it gives me an excuse to keep the visits short since I will need to get home to take care of the animals and do dinner etc etc etc. May allow me to find time to get in some evening workouts. Something will be a big improvement over nothing!

Good morning team.
Did that 500 calorie SP treadmill workout last night. It was killer! I only completed three rounds (5 suggested) and I was drenched in sweat. Got up early and did some strength training. DH was up and down all night with stomach issues. 3/4 of us have had the stomach bug in the last week. Keeping my fingers crossed that I can skip this round.
I also have a messy desk. Hoping to get a lot of work done at the office today. Everyone have a great day!

Its a grey Monday . I accept that . I m so glad to see the white stuff has gone, for now. After 2 weeks hibernation I m going out today. I went to return a library book this morning, Also buy some fresh foods at a small supermarket. This afternoon I can go to the craft group , they will be asking who I am as I missed 2 meetings. So yes I m happy bunny today . Ree
