Went over calories yesterday. I had lunch at Paradise Bakery and had 1/2 sandwich and salad. They added up to 600 calories, according to their site. If that's the case I'll stick to Panera!
I'm doing well on calories today. I exercised both days. Yesterday, strength training and today I cleaned the yard in the COLD! It was a good workout, though.

A gray but (relatively) warm day here in DC, so the weekly trip to the farmer's market was a nice walk. (Crowded, now that winter hours have started -- 10am opening vs. 8:30 opening -- but glad to see so many people out giving business to our local farmers and artisans, and bringing home healthy foods!) Picked up some great foods for the week. Did a good job last week using up all the veggies we brought home (we'd been getting lazy about cooking at home and ended up having to toss out some spoiled produce as a result), so hopefully we'll do it again this week.
Also got in a 45-minute run, if you can call what I'm doing these days "running." I was on doctor's orders NOT to run for a few months, so it's kind of a bouncy waddle right now, rather than a real run. But I'm waddling faster than I was last week! :D
It's nice enough tonight that we're grilling up some of the grass-fed steaks we had in the freezer. We did pick up a roast from one of the vendors at the market today, but we'll put that in the slow-cooker one day this week. Not often we get a chance to grill in January...
Currently maintaining within 5 lbs. (+ or -) of goal. I weigh daily, but also use a tape measure and the fit of my clothes to guage how well I'm doing.

Oh, here it is....don't know why I couldn't find the board this morning!?! Still struggling with sugar, but doing okay today - not great, gave in to a cookie, but doing better. As long as I don't let myself get too tired, I should be okay. Getting in to see my Dr. tomorrow morning before work, so hopefully in a couple of days, I'll be sleeping a bit better and will have an appt with the chiro.

It is okay. I have been there. Please get back on to the healthy eating. You do not need to lose weight fast. Please make yourself comfortable moving everyday and drinking water. Eat three or more mini meals a day. I eat three meals and two snacks a day. I have fruit, or a couple of wheat crackers, or a yogurt for a snack. Best wishes, Linda from bean town

I'm coming off a HORRIBLE binge from the past couple of days, but I think I'm alright now. Ran 10 miles this morning on my long run that I had to do at my gym's indoor track due to the TONS of rain that we're getting in Memphis.
I think that the food issues are coming from still struggling with such a fast weight loss and being in emotional freefall during the process and not allowing myself to catch my breath. Now that I've slowed down a little, it's been a struggle to maintain my healthy habits, since the new body is out of my comfort zone. It will take some time to get my head straight, but I just need to be a little more disciplined about not allowing certain foods in the house.
So for now, it's about the water and keeping the calories at my BMR...definitely in weight loss mode!
It is really cold here this weekend... yesterday, I decided that instead of getting my fitbit steps outsides, I'd do the stairs inside and try to get my 100 flights of stairs badge. And I did! :-) Strength training today.

Good Morning!
Rest day yesterday and will be another one today. I'm tired, plus I'm taking care of my sick College son.
It's very cold here too. It's a good day to stay inside.
Have a nice Sunday!

Don't ask me how I'm up 2 ounces (187.8) after staying in my calorie range AND doing 45 minutes of fitness activity (cardio and strength training), but I am. I'm feeling good though and am sure it's just a fluke. I got in around 6-7 servings of fruits and veggies yesterday, and hope to do the same today! Sometimes I think my scale and body are in cahoots.
Agenda for today: Breakfast with Mom, workout, help out at the theatre and then rehearsal. Busy, but a nice day!

I am hours ahead If most of you in England but I think I put my update on yesterday's thread! Clever, a day at home . I am trying new recipes out which are in my eating plan range, had pork with apricots today . Nice but there is little taste in pork now. It could have been any meat, I will check dates for my next update. Irene

We've got a bunch of sleepy heads today? :)
I didn't get my groceries bought yesterday because it started snowing like crazy. So I have to get that done today. Have some housework to do and I need to get my workouts planned for the week. Think today will be treadmill day. Everyone have a great Sunday!

What? No dailies yet? After yesterday's "long" run (took a long time to write about it too), only a longish walk with DH this afternoon at HIS stroll speed. I'm glad he's moving and I need to work out some kinks.
Enjoy your Sunday everyone.
