Well, today I weighed in at 143.5. Down 1.5lbs from where I was maintaining at 145 for awhile (even through my very gluttonous holiday), and 6.5lbs down from my original goal weight of 150. At 140 I'll have a "normal" BMI so I suppose losing more weight isn't a big deal. I just don't get how I am though. I didn't even bother tracking on Saturday, and ate bar food on Monday, and pizza and cake on Tuesday. I ate a little less Wednesday and Thursday (1670 and 1520 respectively) to counteract Monday and Tuesday. But, as usual, goes to show I need to eat more. Starting this month I increased my breakfast calories by 100, and my snack calories by 50. I guess I need to do more.

But it's also kind of a relief for me. It shows I can go out and have fun and live life and not have to worry so much about what I'm eating, as long as I make mindful choices most of the time. In December I was getting sort of frustrated with it all... the idea of having to be strict and track and keep it up in order to not put weight back on. Maybe I don't have to do that as much as I thought I would.

Working on maintaining at 140!

Weighed in at 188.0, so I lost 2 ounces. Bummed I wonít be at my goal for the week. Trying to stay positive. Going to do at least 15 min of cardio tonight, hopefully my body will be able to do it. Iíve been fighting an upper resp infection and as a result have been very weak.
Enjoy your Friday SparkFriends!

Lori--Here's hoping it's "nothing". You're wise not to lose sleep over what is most likely something perfectly harmless. Another busy day at work. Makes me really look forward to the weekend! Doing OK on food, could be better on activity, but trying to keep at it. Results will come!

Good morning ladies!

Sad day. Last day of my early morning boot camp class. Will have to figure out something else. There aren't a lot of classes in my small town and I thrive in a social setting.

NSV for me today as I'm wearing a pair of size 8 levis that have been stuck in the top of my closet for years!

Everyone have a fantastic Friday!

Gyn breast exam revealed a lump I never noticed. I guess I don't do a very probing exam when I do it. Regularly doing it doesn't help if you don't really search. So I have a diagnostic mammo scheduled for the 25th of Jan. I'm a little scared. But it didn't really keep me up last night obsessing about it.

Wishing a quick recovery for those with illness. We are battling the flu in our home. The last one has finally fallen ill... my 10 year old son. He doesn't handle illness well. He gets bored and anxious over the work he misses at school. Poor guy.

I've been on track for 5 days now and it feels great. Last night's Zumba was a struggle. She did say it was a tough playlist. I think it's because I slacked the month of December. It sure doesn't take long to fall out of shape but it won't take me long to get back into shape. I'll revisit this thought in about 4 weeks when I'm hunting for a 5K nearby.

After indulging on sweets Wed., I had a great day yesterday. It was just what I needed. Haven't wanted a cookie since. I ended up outside for a great run yesterday. The fresh air was much needed. Today it's a different story. Dense fog and icey roads from the rain we had overnight. I guess the treadmill will have to do today.

Have a great Friday!

Day number two of not going anywhere - missed downtown yesterday and now bible study this morning. Trying to get rid of this flu - at this point I am too tired to move much off the couch. Have decided to just work at getting better and let everything else go for now. Am eating healthy as I know that will help - made huge pot of stock with vegetables yesterday.

Home from strength training, though I still need to do abs tonight at some point.

I made it back to the pool last night, and I don't know if it was the strength training I've been doing (bumped it up to 3 times a week starting last month), the new bathing suit or whatever, but I did 2,000 meters of breaststroke last night and I was ready to do more! Ended up sore this morning, but that went away once I started my workout. Will run (short run - 5k), do abs and probably some walking or elliptical work tonight.

Food was definitely up there. I was just ravenous after my day (over 22k steps, ran 10k, swam 2k, did 75 floors, according to my fitbit), plus, I had eaten too much chocolate. Will make sure that I don't do that again today.

Well, off to the shower, then to the office. Have a FANTASTIC Friday, everyone!

After a rest day yesterday I did get back on track today. I do not know if cheese on toast is a wise choice for lunch but I fancied that, I have put a bowl of salad on the table so it looks healthy, Irene emoticon

Good morning, everyone. The gym, the beach...sounds like moving is on everyone's mind. Sorry you are feeling badly Phebess.

I think I'll "draft" on your movement ideas and figure out something to do today too! You are motivating!! Probably will walk on this mild day. But need to look at my gym schedule for this month. Have been avoiding gym because it is always jammed in January, but want to take a class or two soon--so motivating.

Have an excellent day, team. And happy almost weekend!

A walk along the beach sounds so good!!! I grew up around beaches but don't live near anywhere near a beach now.

Have a great day all, Pat

Some walking, and low end of cals. Day started well, ended not feeling so good due to allergic reaction to something I ate.

Good morning! I actually slept in a little -- till 4:00! Ha! But I went to bed a little later. Scale was back in good range today. I'm headed to the gym now to do 30 min eliptical and 60 min RIPPED class, then giving blood and to work for a busy day. It's a heat wave--over 50 degrees. But winter is back on its way this weekend.

Hope all have a great Friday!!
