Got in both stretching and Curves but that unfortunately was undone by a pot luck today at the Seniors meeting at Church. Darn those people can cook! Light dinner tonight for sure. I hate it when I have such a variety of little tastes. I have absolutely no way to track any of it. 1 tsp. of this, 1/2 T of that, 1 meatball (small, with red sauce!) I mean really, how do you count that? On to tomorrow.

Hi all! Made it to strength training class in the morning and then stopped back at the gym after work to make sure I got in sufficient cardio since I knew we had a potluck to go to later. Did reasonably well at the potluck by making a new (delish!) recipe with quinoa, eggs, veggies, and meat that I knew I could safely have. I do best when I do some planning for eating out, but you never know with potlucks what your options will be. The real challenge is going to be vacation next week!

Thank you all for the congrats on my first anniversary! It kind of snuck up on me. I didn't even blog about it! I actually thought my ann. was in February, but I looked back at my records and saw that you all were right and I got it mixed up!
My cold isn't too bad and I'm able to do some gentle workouts. I'm feeling better about my calorie intake for the last week. I've set up a monetary reward system for reaching calorie goals and for each workout I do, and it's motivating me really well.

It's a slow walk morning with my old dog.. good thing there is a logging road very close by as I can let the fast dog.. my border collie loose to run and sniff while I putz along with the slow boy..
I hope to ride my stationary bike too, so that will help with the calorie burn part of maintenance regime!

Eating has been pretty good, and keeping up with working out. Need to bump up workouts and scale back snacking.
Super-busy at work (I'm an accountant), so time and stress are obstacles to overcome.

Pretty good day yesterday. I made a plan and got most of the things done. I've been feeling overwhelmed lately, so I bought a daily planner to help me take control and organize. It's pouring rain and getting colder, so I doubt I'll get a walk in other than a quick dash to the mailbox. Weight still coming down from the football watching binge on Sunday.
Whatever this virus is I picked up, it is long past time for it to go. Planned eating - chicken tonight and hopefully soon be walking the mountain again.
I will be doing just a short workout today. I've got a Dr. appt. and then I need to run errands, come home and finish up my laundry. The temps have been mild. 30's again for today so hopefully another walk outside.

After 16 miles in the last 4 days, no cardio today. This afternoon I WILL pick up those weights which sit in my line of sight as I type at my computer. After a few sets on my own, there's a SP video that looks good.
I've got chicken defrosting for dinner and lots of healthy snacks in the fridge. Laundry to do & closets to clean. Now to stick to the plan!

I slept through my normal breakfast time this morning, so I'm eating drive-thru food at my desk. At least I didn't totally go off the deep end, I'm enjoying a yogurt parfait and a McMuffin rather than a biscuit.
Last night I *almost* skipped my workout. Then I remembered I checked out a yoga DVD from the lib, and actually got a killer workout! Tonight is my off day since we're having book club... too bad I didn't read the book :P
It was a productive day so far: got laundry done (YAY! Clean workout gear!), and since most of it was stuff that I needed to hang to get dry, I saved money by not running the dryer for the few items that could go through the dryer (I have to do coin-op washers and dryers)! Instead, I have stuff hanging everywhere that I can hang stuff except the shower rod, but I knew I was going to need the shower after my boot camp class this morning.
I'm still sore from Monday's strength training workout, but got at least a start to some strength training this morning in boot camp, though it was more cardio (which is exactly what I needed!). Will go back for strength training tonight. Also need to stop at the store to get black beans to soak for two batches of black bean corn salad: one that I'm taking to a party Saturday night (will also take some chips so people can use it as a salsa) and one that I'll make and portion out for side dishes with my grilled fish at night.
Well, since I made sure the shower rod was clear of clothes that needed to dry, I'd better get in there and finish getting ready for work. Have a great day, everyone!

Good Morning! I am feeling yesterdays work out in my shoulders. Will be heading to the gym again today for cardio. With laundry and continuing to remove traces of Christmas from the house it will be a busy active day.

Good morning early birds! I have jury duty again today. Yesterday it was unseasonably warm so I went for a walk after a healthy lunch at Subway.... Chicken breast sandwich, with veggies, no condiments, apple slices and a bottle of water.
The area was dicey so I only walked 10 minutes then did the elliptical last night.
We'll see what today brings.

Calories back in range (yesterday was not good!) - and walked 11K steps - so a good day. Drinking water before bed. (10:12 PM here, plan to be in bed by midnight.)

Good morning teammates!!! I'm awake too early this morning, but I went to bed early. I know sleep is part of the equation for a healthy lifestyle so I aim for 7 hrs minimum. The short days of winter seem to lull me into bed early, so I guess it's okay to be an early bird--but I long for the long days of summer.
Today my fitness routine includes 30 min of eliptical and 60 min of RIPPED class. Nutrition is on track, although I need to enter last night's meal into my tracker.
