Hi all. I did okay today. Went to yoga and then went for a 50 min walk. I went over my friend's house to watch the playoff games and I made and brought my own hummus and brought some cut up veggies.
My friend made wings, and I only had two and was really okay with just two. He also had a bag of french onion sun chips and had 3, and didn't even really like them. They used to be my favorite. So far I'm just at my calories for the day.

I know I was MIA yesterday, but after having my quarterly Depo Provera shot, I wasn't feeling like myself. I didn't even go to my usual classes yesterday, because I was just feeling crappy. So instead, I did an 8 mile walk and left it at that.
Today was a better day: ran 8.5 miles, went to a great church service to celebrate Epiphany, ran a couple of errands, then did a TON of chores around the apartment. Got over 20k steps and 20 floors in, according to my Fitbit, so I'm feeling good.
Well, I just have to do some hand-washing and get my gym bags packed for tomorrow, so have a good rest of the day!
Hi All! I am new here! I cooked meatloaf for the family this afternoon. Everyone liked the meatloaf. I only cook this once a year because it is too heavy. It was made with beef. I should have used ground turkey instead. Walked my little doggy Dusty four times already. I need to exercise more tomorrow. I will try to go to an exercise class. Linda from bean town
busy, productive weekend for me. Lots of cooking casserole (vegan) to put into containers and freeze and ready for me to take for lunch. Housecleaning, shopping, cooking, and MOST importantly, gave my stinky stinky dog a bath - Amen!

I had a very active week, muscles are sore! I feel quite worn. So I'm taking a lazy day! I just ran three errands and parked on the other end of the parking lots each time and walked everywhere like I was very late. That's all I have in me today.
I weighed in today, still two pounds under my goal weight. Back on track tomorrow.
I'm so proud of myself this morning. I met a friend for an unplanned breakfast. I had a 3 egg veggie omelet, wheat toast and hashbrowns (a weakness). I also had coffee. The proud part was I took 1/2 the veggie omelet and hashbrowns home! Yes, I boxed them up and took them home! Yay for me! (Now to get my night time hunger under control!)

I have had a decent day so far. I ate at my low end of calorie range yesterday and plan the same for today. Trying to recover from that major binge.
I had a therapeutic talk with my dad about my binge. He labeled it as a sweet addiction. I agree. He reminded me that mom is addicted to cigarettes, my brother also was and he is a recovering alcoholic. When I was little i sucked my thumb till I was 10 (oral gratification need) and as a bipolar I have had a tendency to binge on alcohol, but have stabilized on that. Haven't binged with that for 5 years. I only wish I could get my act together and figure out how to control my sweets problem, which also could be compulsive sweet binges.

Back to reality eating! Brunch and dinner at friends yesterday went semi OK. Not great but it could have been WAY worse! Doing good so far, with Breakfast and lunch. Not sure what to have for dinner. Did the SP taco soup the other day and have been having that with 1 serving of Scoops chips. I added more veggies...whole onion and 2 colored peppers Didn't use the garbanzo beans as I had none but it's still good and veggie heavy. Also used ground Bison. Never had that before. Split a BJ's purchase with my neighbor. Could not tell any difference from regular ground beef. If it was leaner I could not tell. Taste is the same. Price is significantly higher.

Good afternoon. I'm checking in later than usual too. Daughter, granddaughter and I visited a new church!! It was very, very nice. Challenging with a 17 mo old, but we could have taken her to the nursery.
Massage worked well on the shoulder; I didn't wake up once during the night thinking ouch my shoulder hurts. The therapist called it an "angry shoulder". I need to check with instructor--maybe I'm not doing pushups correctly or something.
Have to drive home today. ugh At least the sun is shining.
I was on SP for quite some time this morning. Blogging, commenting, giving goodies. Guess I forgot to stop by and check in. Really busy today. Put in a double batch of soup in the crock pot so I could have for lunches this week and some for the freezer. Cleaned bathrooms. Will do some laundry later and go for a run after my lunch settles. It's almost 50 degrees out! Have to take advantage of that. Would be a perfect day if not for the marital tension :/ Won't let that spoil my mood though.

I did OK yesterday, made a good choice at a restaurant but then in the evening got into the pistachios. Oh well, when they're gone I won't get any more. My husband did some reorganizing and decluttering in the bathroom and hall closet yesterday, so that got me going through the food in the kitchen and getting a handle on just what all I've got! I also made an almost-vegan black bean, sweet potato, quinoa chili for lunches this week. It's not vegan because my vegetable buillion cubes vanished and I used low sodium beef base instead. Today is a big football playoff game, so we're going to a brother's house to watch with family. I'm taking some things it's better for me to share than have to myself--chips and spanakopeta (both impulse purchases at Costco). I'll eat what I want and enjoy the game, but tomorrow it's back to reality!
9:30 here and no daily? I can't lose this habit. Usually Sunday is my day of rest, but today I'll join people in a kick-off challenge event. Yesterday I did 4 miles, my longest in a month so I'm ready.
