Trying to stay on track. Had a New Years Brunch with lots of friends and I believe I ate wisely for the most part. Tonight is the Italian feast with TONS of wonderful food. I'll try to eat moderately but it will be awfully hard. Tomorrow I'm back on track 100% and combined with daily Curves workouts should get me back on track.

What Logould said! We're starting slow this morning. My weight is back down to where it was last Saturday--I've gained and lost 5.2 lbs over the week. For a person my size, that's a lot! It was uncomfortable and I'm hoping my body will settle down and behave now.

Sat mornings we are downtown feeding the homeless outside - around 800. It is so sad to see so many sleeping on the sidewalk in the cold. Now sitting home with the heater going full blast, I am so thankful.
I'm on day 4 of getting back to my good eating plan. Generally my maintenance plan is to eat clean all week and relax a bit on the weekends. But after a splurge like the holidays, I have to forego the weekend treats until the scale is where it needs to be. Made it through Friday night...now on to Saturday. I'm tracking!

I have a rest day planned for today, but it is supposed to get up into the forties so I may go for a walk later. I have my meals planned for next week and grocery list made, just need to get to the grocery store today. Do I go now before it gets busy, or later when it's warmer? Hmmm...

Starting the morning here really sets the tone for the day. Yesterday was day 2 of all nutrients in range. In fact, I recorded a skinny cow ice cream sandwich for my evening snack - not a bad choice, but when I went to the fridge I substituted a 4 oz cup of organic Greek yogurt with honey. More protein, fewer carbs - baby steps here.
Good morning! My granddaughter woke up about 4:30 and showed me her newest antics, but is already back asleep for her early morning nap. lol I have a massage scheduled this afternoon and am looking forward to shoulder pain relief. For some reason, my lower back started aching last night on the drive to my daughter's house. Not good, for grandma to pick up the 17 mo old. So may have massage therapist work on that if the Aleve doesn't work. We are hoping for a nice day to go for a walk. Weight yesterday was good so want to keep the nutrition in line, too.
