I hope I'm having PMS, because I'm kind of grumpy today and keep looking at that box of cookies. Good thing tomorrow is a higher calorie day. I did my fitness really early today, between 6:30 and 7:10.

Hi team. checking in later than usual. I can't believe how busy I've become at work. I am starting to get nervous about looming deadlines. I wish there was someone I could rely upon for some help.
Yesterday's get-to-gether turned into another party--eating some delicious desserts even if only a small sliver. I couldn't muster up the guts to get on the scale. I even read a blog about someone who weighs everyday -- that works for her.
I had a great workout this morning; it was good to have a full class again as so many were out for the holiday. I think routine helps me stay on track.
See ya tomorrow!

I'm trying to eat well for my first weigh in of the year on Friday. I was 2/10th above last week. I've eaten well, for the most part, and exercised everyday so I'm hoping. We'll see in two days!

Yes, Kitty, you can do it again. Glad you are still here, still posting, that will help you get back and stay on track :) 145 this morning- 3 below goal, didn't eat well yesterday- only got slightly more than half daily target met...anxiety is making it hard for me to have much appetite, but I'm making sure to eat healthy when I can manage to get something down. Have a great day!

Hi Everyone!
Today I am going to shop and may just have to buy myself something in a smaller size. I'm sure there must be lots of after Newyears bargains just waiting for me..

Werf! I lost 4 lbs in the past 24 hours. Even at that, I'm still higher than I want to be, but I have the distinct feeling that the de-bloat isn't done yet. I got queasy this morning even though I ate before taking my pills. I really feel like I needed a day or two extra between 2012 and 2013 to catch up. I have so much to do and no time to do it. Sleeping in yesterday morning did me a lot of good, I felt better than I have for weeks. Didn't sleep well last night, though. Choir social/informal rehearsal tonight. Not sure yet how I'll handle that. I could just call that dinner, I could eat a light dinner and try to keep to just a few snacks, or I could eat dinner and just avoid the buffet all together...come in late just for the rehearsal. For all those who are feeling off-kilter as we start the New Year:

Here in Austria it's still pretty cold, and at 4pm, the sun is setting down. I wrote my blog post, had an exciting call with an ex colleague, and have eaten 2 healthy meals. Not as slow as I think I should, but the content was good. I'll eat the dinner slow! :-) Happy 2nd of January to everbody! :-)

I'm here. I've really blown my maintenance and I'm having such a hard time getting back on track. I did it once, I can figure it out again, right?

CATMAGNET, I am with you on the gym thing, the 'Train for Spain' are pretty bad times too!
I am happy to report that yesterday's 10k race went swimmingly... appropriate adverb to use since it rained cats and dogs the entire time!
I had a hot shower and big, comfort food dinner afterwards. I went a little heavy on the "I deserve it!" snacks, so today I'll be eating clean.
Have terrific day :)

Good morning!
I'm back at the office today after a week and a half of vacation. It's good to see everyone, but it's going to be a rough couple of months of hard work, especially since I start officially training for my half marathon next week.
My weight is good. This morning, I weighed 159.6, so I'm now below my goal weight. The mainlining water yesterday worked! HOORAY! Had a good boot camp this morning, though I'll do some additional strength training tonight to cover the parts we didn't really cover that much and some cardio. I'm gritting my teeth right now, knowing I'll have to deal with all those folks at the gym today that make the New Year's resolution to get in shape and don't follow through. OK, I know, it sounds snarky when I say it, but it seems to be the case every year.
Anyhow, I'd better get back to doing what I do. Have a good one, everybody!
Starting the day with SP is good for my state of mind even if I'm not as good as I planned to be. Yesterday turned out to be one extra day of cupcakes and ice cream, but it's all gone now and I do not intend to make/buy any more. I did start back to run/walking even if it was only 2.5 miles. Today I'll go a bit farther.
The race is not always to the swift, but to those who keep on running.

First day back to 5 am boot camp class. Didn't really get to bed early enough last night, but I'm sure I'll be asleep early tonight! Kids don't go back to school until Monday and DH goes back tomorrow, so I guess I'll head to the office to tackle the pile of work that I'm sure awaits me.
Everyone have a great day!

Good Morning! Sent the kiddo back to school today but seem to have picked up my eldest over night so I don't see my mornings getting back to normal today. Have a good day!

Good morning! Was just thinking about weighing in every day for awhile, SELF RESPECT: thanks for the good example. Weighing in does really get my focus going too--LOL.
I'm doing the January exercise challenge with Coach Nicole and am enjoying the change. It's just 10 minutes of exercise, then a 30 min cardio of my choosing. I am looking for some more consistency from the challenge.
But biggest challenge today will be to remember it's really 2013! Have a great day, Sparkers.

Happy New Year all! I hope everyone had a lovely holiday season and survived.
I'm going to weigh myself every-other-day until I drop the bit of Ho Ho Ho weight I put on.
Blessings, Pat

Time to get back in line, I agree. I'm spending the day cooking for the freezer (calculating nutrition too) I just hope Amelia is happy to whizz around in her walker. I can't wait for her to master her push alongs she got for Christmas.
I feel the need to blog today to get things straight in my mind.

good morning! hadn't really planned on getting up at midnight to work, but my body seemed to know that it was a work day, so i'm back at it. still fighting my cold, and DH is still getting worse with his, so all we managed was 2.6 miles yesterday, but that is still something. living on soup, which is good -black bean for lunch and hot and sour for dinner - and weight is up a tad this a.m, but probably because i didn't sleep as long as i have been over the holidays. it does make a difference. not to mention perhaps a little heavy on the munching. time to get back in line.
have a great day!
