Weight down one, but I ended the day with cake and pizza- celebrating my son's 20th Birthday- expecting a rise in the scale tomorrow, especially after the salty pizza.
I did get another walk through the woods in today though :)

So today was the first day with my fitbit Ultra. So far, I'm really enjoying it, and I have nearly 15,000 steps in already!
This morning was busy, which included a 6.5 mile run, grocery shopping, a doctor's appointment, dropping off a gift at the office, then grabbing some sushi for lunch. Heading back to the gym in a bit for a strength training session and boot camp, then taking it easy this evening.
Hope all of yas are having a FABULOUS Friday!

I've had a great day today, started with 30 mins stationary bike and a short ST session and I got to test my Garmin later in the day too with a 3 mile run. Exercise is easier to fit into the day again and I'm loving it! I've eaten really well without tracking which is a big achievement, just had a couple of biscuits now but I haven't gone overboard. I'm hoping to get all of the junk out of the house tomorrow, but I might have to wait an extra day. People seem to assume I've sat down and eaten the whole lot in one go and not just decided to bin it.
Speaking of binning the junk food, it always amazes me how many people see it as wasting food. Maybe it's a waste to eat it and put my body under all that stress but my family don't see it that way! I think today I have realized that I will always have to make an effort to keep this stuff out of my house and not cave in to the binge monster. I feel like I have finally admitted these things to myself and on Spark too. 2013 can only be a good year :-)

Hi team! I went to my R.I.P.P.E.D. class this morning. We had a substitute teacher (quite thin) who made the comment "stay off the scale, judge yourself by the way your clothes fit". AAAWWWWGGGHHHH! Not for this maintainer! I can easily gain a lot of weight, because I start picking the clothes with more give. I wish instructors wouldn't give that advice.
Speaking of scales, I plan to step on it tomorrow. I do have a bit of a phobia with the scale.
I'm so looking forward to some "me" time this weekend. I really need to re-charge my batteries.
Hope everyone has a good day!
I'm late checking in today, but that's okay, because I get to catch up on more people. Teleworking again today. MIL and I will be going to a champagne dinner tonight, and I give myself permission to splurge. We stay at the hotel so we don't have to drive after all the drink. Unfortunately, DH will be spending his night in Minnesota for work instead of in Virginia with us. Bummer.

Had a great day yesterday! Got a lot of housework done, 3 mile run/walk. Did a yoga dvd this morning. Food has been a little off, but not too bad.
Everyone have a great day!

Today's the start of Day 8 binge-free, and I'm gonna make the day . Just about all the Christmas leftovers are gone without much food in their place, so that should help ward against mindless nibbling. Hoping to make it to BodyFlow class tonight. I haven't made it yet this week because of Christmas and bad weather; I like to go at least once a week.

Did OK on food yesterday until my husband persuaded me to go see The Hobbit. My, "OK, but no chocolate popcorn!" turned into, "Well, only a small...you always get the medium and it's too much." The stuff is diabolical. It makes the whole lobby smell like baking brownies. It's like caramel corn, but chocolate. Enjoyed the movie, but as I expected, I'm dragging this morning. I did think to eat a bit before I left the house to minimize the nausea/stomach cramps I had yesterday from pills on an empty stomach. When will I learn? I don't like to take the time to eat before I leave for work (I eat once I get to work), but having to put my head between my knees and think good thoughts about not fainting or upchucking isn't exactly a time saver, either. The problem is, SOMETIMES I get away with it, so I keep thinking I can wait to eat.
So sorry to hear so many are under the weather. Take care!
Happy 22 Anniversary, VTRICIA! I hope you feel well enough to get out and do something special!
No weight gain, no weight loss in this past week. I find I am maintaining at 160, though I want to kick off between 10 and 20 more lbs in 2013. We have company in town this next week, so tracking and fitness minutes are a must.
Enjoy the weekend, and be safe!

Love pan-seared brussels sprouts, Mennoly! I can easily eat a whole pound of them.

I'm still struggling with the pineapple reaction (face rash) but still sparking. Still crossing my fingers on the flu my husband and the baby got. Tomorrow is my anniversary, 22 years! With the flu we'll probably do a staycation.

Good morning everyone! I have kiddos coming over for dinner tonight to help me eat some Christmas Lasagne. Last night I made some roasted brussel sprouts. Sooo delicious! Seasoned with black pepper, salt and olive oil and roasted until tender. super yum!

Over 110 pounds gone for good!
Back to work today. Thought I would have a chance to finally enjoy a day off yesterday (with nothing BIG planned except chores), but as luck would have it, I had a monster headache and a strained back all day, so the best I could do was make it to the DMV to get my registration and sticker renewed. Fridge is on the blink too, so eating healthy right now is more than a challenge. Repairman is coming out today....hoping he can get it going....have yogurt sitting out on the back step and fruit on the counter, but that isn't going to last long and I can't go shopping everyday.

Good morning, Jocelyn and other team members! If you love this team, J, I hope you continue to come by. Good days and bad I find inspiration from this team because just like me they are showing up to keep themselves on track. So you are welcome, that I know!
I've caught a little bug from my college student son, come home for break. ( Achoo!) Cookies were very tempting last night, but I did okay with two and a light dinner. I found some veggie chili in the recesses of my freezer and it tasted great after all the rich and complicated holiday meals.
Expecting to take it easy on the exercise front, but to watch my calories. So easy to get bored when just a little sick.
I hope everyone has a great day!
