Hey everyone! Puppies! Fun!
Stressful work week. Tomorrow will be bad but I will power through. Many holiday festivities and treats twirling around me daily lately but I weighed in at goal this morning so that's good.

Just a quick "hi" to be sociable and let you all know I'm reading your posts. Stressful day getting ready for a very stressful event tomorrow morning. Early afternoon, I can take a big breath. Too stressed to eat much today, and got my workout in first thing this morning (treadmill incline walk run for 30 min, interval class for 60 min.) Looking forward to a better tomorrow. Wish me luck (those prayers would be appreciated, too).
In range on the cals, walked a bunch (4.5 miles) - all in all, a good day.

Oh boy, it's starting out to be a Monday! Knocked my coffee cup off the tabke as I was leaving for work, dousing the bag I was carrying "Secret Santa" supplies in. Luckily it hit the bag and not the gifts. Husband is done with orchestras until after the first of the year, so I can be more leisurely about dinner prep. Suzy, getting two puppies (and daschunds in particular!) at Christmastime? You are crazy! But what fun. We aren't putting up a tree this year because our cats are so active that it would be asking for disaster. I need to bake cookies some time this week for work. I'll probably do a double batch, because I think it's rude to bake something and then tell your family, "Those aren't for you!" Have a super Monday!
Folks sure are getting busy with all the Christmas activity. Most of my family are far away thus Christmas is a really quiet time for me, unless they decide to invade us like they did last year.
I'm still not feeling 100%, tired, but carrying on the best I can and still maintaining and that's what counts.

Just want to say Hi & welcome to all the new members. Enjoying my trip with my dh. Glad I am getting a walk in the morning because we haven't been getting much other exercise. Today I look forward to hopefully go shopping, get pedicures & lunch with a friend.

Hoping to be productive at the office today. I was sick on Thursday and lazy on Friday, so I really need to buckle down today. I've also fallen behind on my housework. Got up early this morning for my boot camp class and have healthy meals planned for the week.

Another one with a busy weekend here. Ugly Sweater Run and TONS of shopping on Saturday, 7 mile run, church, a little more shopping and cooking/prepping food for the week on Sunday. Plus, I talked to the new guy last night for a little bit, which brightened my day. We're going out on Friday night for dinner and the local Starry Nights display at a nearby park, and if that goes well, we plan on going to one of the art museums in town to check out a porcelain exhibit, which should be fun.
Did strength training this morning, though I felt REALLY weak upper-body-wise, so I didn't do as well there, so if I feel up to it, I'll probably do a little more after work before my cardio workout.
Supposed to get my fat tested today too...I'm not holding my breath that the trainer will remember, but who knows...

I finally feel almost human today. I did manage a workout yesterday. Eating was okay over the weekend. I hope to do a longer workout tonight depending on how my body feels.

Did some holiday baking, and it's all safely tucked into freezer at BF's house :) My son performed in a holiday concert in a local mall that was pretty beautiful on Saturday. BF and I had his parents over for dinner yesterday afternoon.
Scale is down again! I'm liking that :)

I had a great weekend. I didn't earn a gold star for nutrition, but exercise was right where it should be. This week is going to be a nonstop whirlwind of holiday events, exercise, and work. I've really got to buckle down on eating clean this week so I can enjoy a treat or two.
Everybody is so busy! At the moment, Christmas planning has taken a back seat to puppies in our house. I've got one of them on my lap right now, and the other is patrolling for marauders. She may be small, but she is fierce. One thing I can attest to, from past experience in somewhat stressed situations is to hang onto your Spark routines!

Yesterday, I took another break from fitness, because my back demanded a rest. Guess I've been trying to do too much, and I know from experience that when my back speaks, I'd better listen.
I also had a (somewhat) planned overage of calories (over by 170), but it's the first time I've gone over since December started, and some of those days were considerably under, so I don't feel bad. I remained conscious of what was going in my mouth all day and made decisions along the way to limit the damage.

Had an incredibly busy weekend and it doesn't look like things will ease up at all untill Christmas morning. Yesterday was the first of the Christms parties. I was just a bit over in calories (around 110 cal), but hoping that the 6.6 mie run I did helped to offset that. Sure it would be nice to have had that deficit, but I have no illusions that losing at this time of year is hard if not next to impossible. I set a goal to maintain, and, so far, so good. Today is work from 7-4, then, race home, make appetizers and get to he next Christmas party. Tomorrow, ahhh, another "day off" - shopping, wrapping and another run-with some hills or speed work.

Had a great weekend, was even able to kayak one day because it was warm enough to get out on the water in Virginia. Walked with a friend yesterday and then had tea with two women friends in the afternoon. I made a fun dish with beans and a little sausage for my husband and I and we watched a DVD. Good Sunday and I am pretty ready for work today and more holiday tasks. Hope everyone gets a good start on the week!

I have been so busy lately, I can't even begin to explain how stressed (some good stresses though) I have been but last night was the first time I had an hour (yes, just the one hour!) to relax before bed. I slept better and things should stay at this level for a while. So I thought I'd make the most of this 'quiet' time to track for a while and make sure things are going well for me nutrition, fitness and weight wise. Honestly I think I could have done a lot better over the last few weeks but I'm just going to try to improve on things when it gets stressful next time.
The week has started well, with 30 mins stationary bike and some ST, hoping to get out for a walk later with baby girl and a 30 min run this evening when my husband gets home. I'm optimistic I can celebrate Christmas in style this year without too much worries

good morning! sunday we took a long walk on the road, fresh snow, but not so much to need digging or plowing. extra walk in the afternoon, and almost 17,000 fitbit steps by the end of the day. nutrition went well - a hearty version of miso soup for lunch, and red lentil burgers for dinner. and leftovers of both for today for easy cooking. weight came back down, which felt good.
