Happy Thanksgiving all! Thankful that the scale started to move back down this morning...and for an AWESOME Thanksgiving service last night....and for roasted root vegetables to offset all the other tasty stuff that we are having today. SO VERY thankful for Spark and for this team that helps to keep me on track and become the kind of person that I always dreamed off...both physically and mentally/emotionally.

Good morning and a happy thanksgiving to everyone. I did a 60 min. step aerobics workout this morning before we head over to friends for our festive turkey. I plan to enjoy the good food but not overindulge - I'm too thankful for the health and weight maintenance that God has given to me!

Happy Thanksgiving! Catching a little of the Macy's Day Parade. First got a 40 minute workout in. I'm going to have a snack before Dinner so I am not so hungry that I too much. After all I need a few carbs and some protein post-workout!

Happy Thanksgiving, all! May you all have too many blessings to count! Dinner today will be portion controlled as we're eating at my Mom's retirement home. I plan on making a second Thanksgiving dinner some time next week (scaled for 2). I did buy a pumpkin pie yesterday. I am already missing the hubbub of a holiday with my husband's family. I really do love them all.

I'm about to get my butt away from the keyboard and finish getting ready to head to the race venue. Since there will be about 3,000 folks running the race at 9AM, I knew I needed to get there early in order to make sure I have a parking space. So I have a book, my iPod, some food, LOTS of water and an extra set of running gear set so I won't be bored for 3 hours, waiting for the race to start.
Food will probably be about the same, since it's just me and the cats, so I won't bother with turkey and the rest of the spread. Since I have my date tomorrow night, that will be my "splurge" meal, though it will still be healthy.
