I track when I can, have been doing lots of walking, and I try to eat in range. Not always easy, given the fact that we're in northern New Zealand and travelling in a camper - but at least I have my apples!

I've been snacking too much at night and it's starting to show on the scale. My goal for the weekend is to stop eating after dinner unless I'm under my calorie range. I plan to get plenty of exercise, eat right, and get back down to goal or below. I'd like to get a pound or two below goal weight before Thanksgiving on Thursday!

I'm recovering from a kick butt circuit training session yesterday. I can barely walk! The instructor is preggo and said she had a bad day and was going to take it out on us. She did! We loved it though! I hate when the instructor goes easy on us. Just paying for it today and will probably not work out tonight. Might be doing some wine tasting tonight at a winery so trying to save some calories for that.

Stopped moping about not getting to do my regular routine of workouts, and charged in and though still careful with my ankle, I made it through 30 minutes of self planned ST in interval form. I also tested out biking indoors just to see how my ankle would feel and since it isn't really weight bearing, I woke up in the morning without feeling any worse. There's still soreness but not really pain, so I assume that it is almost healed.
Had a hormone related weight fluctuation over two days, but it must've been water because it went back down right away. Phew! Keeping calories in mid-range is still what I'm doing. I'm working in a sweet snack every day, that seems to work well for me. Don't like the reaction I get to deprivation.

I skipped my a.m. workout because my bum, back and quads were so sore today after yesterday morning's ST and evening Zumba. I hate excuses but my bod needs rest and recovery. I'll walk this evening along with some yoga before bed. I won't lose out on this day.
I have to say, I'm incredibly proud that I did not snack after supper last night. I crack it up to persistence, vigilance, and determination to change a habit... to finally change a habit that I've been reluctant to give up. It's time. I'm ready. It will happen.
3 years knocking at this lifestyle and little by little I've changed what I do, when I do, what I eat, when I eat, what I think, when I think... forming habits, forgiving, recommitting. All of it is worth the outcome that I have achieved. Thanks SP for providing the vehicle!

Still carting around a couple of "grief weight" pounds. Last night we went out to dinner. Husband said I deserved it for all I've done in the past few weeks. Who could argue with that? I don't think it was unreasonable, but it was more than I normally eat for dinner. Haven't made an attempt at tracking yet. Looking forward to not waking up to an alarm tomorrow.

Made it to the gym last night and worked up a nice sweat, then added in some ST. I woke up guilt-free and feeling good this morning.
I've recently discovered that I LOVE GRAPE NUTS!! I used to hate them with a passion, but I guess my tastes have changed. I microwaved a full cup of grape nuts with some soymilk and honey, and it's soooo yummy (and filling!). I'm going to have to try adding in some dried fruit and nuts.
Tired, not sleeping well, dealing with plantar faciaitis and strained muscles in my back from hefting bags of wet leaves from the gutters. Obviously nothing much in the way of fitness this week. Work is enough and by the grace of God, weight has not crept up (yet). Watching my nutrition close and actually looking forward to my Dr Appt Monday.

Had a great night at Home Depot for their Ladies Night Out event with some friends. It was great to see them, especially since it's been a couple months since I'd been able to get out for an event.
I'm grateful that I have a late morning today. I'm getting laundry done, then off for my swim, then a doctor's appointment (usual medication checkup since I'm on blood thinners). Tonight, I have boot camp, then off to see my boyfriend, James Bond in "Skyfall" with another group of friends. Should be a great, but busy day.
