Hey all, kinda new to this group, working on being satisfied with the weight loss and moving on to maintaining and how to do that.
So, today I am visiting my oldest friend on earth who has breast cancer that has moved to her bones and liver, we traveled 3 hours to get here and she has worked me cleaning, marketing and washing stuff for about 6 hours. Wow, I am tired, but I am healthy ( full disclosure I am a breast cancer survivor), sitting in the hotel room with my husband, dog and fried chicken, can't judge me for that right now.
I thank you all for listening and am working on getting the food stuff under control in a stressful situation. And of course didn't get exercise either, except house work.
Just had to do a shout out because I had to reach out to my peeps who get me and had to be accountable for my stuff!

The day turned out much better than I had anticipated. Ate a very light lunch with the family we needed to visit. Was able to have the supper I originally planned. If I don't eat anything more for today, I'll be doing good!

Need to take time now to plan meals for tomorrow and coming week.

Lots of walking yesterday (almost 12K) and ate in the middle of my range, so SP yelled at me for not eating enough for my exercise (or too much exercise for my nutrition) - but I figure it's balanced by the few days I'm over range.

May make today an easy day, since I stayed up late (rock concert) and didn't sleep well.

Did I make some rash remark yesterday about keeping in range? Dinner with some of the family--prime rib and wine. Salt too, to judge from the scale. The memorial service is this afternoon. Family is more important to me than my weight. I'm just being a wife, sister-in-law, aunt and daughter-in-law right now.

Good morning, everyone. Thanks for all welcome messages yesterday.

Amber, welcome to you. I just started this. I have already found this to be helpful reading that even at maintenance, others are struggling from time to time with bingeing.

I had a plan for yesterday but had to readjust in the afternoon because of doing something with DH away from home. So my eating changed. I did get to my bodypump class.

Today's whole plan has been changed because of a need to make an out of town trip. I won't be able to do the meal preps I had planned to do. I did a 60 min. step aerobics DVD this morning rather than the running I had hoped to do - too cold to run outside and not enough time to drive into the Y to run there. But that's all part of life and learning to maintain - working on readjust when necessary.

Everyone have a great Saturday!

Today we are cleaning out one of the storage rooms in the basement. Going to go through and sort out Christmas decorations and donate what we don`t want. Pulled barbeque chicken for sandwiches for supper, with a veggie. Happy Saturday!

Hello Team!

Twilight run didn't happen (got stuck in traffic). But oh well, just going to make up for it today. Last night I saved over 1,000 cals so I could indulge in something GOOD. We decided on stuffed crust pizza with every veggie Pizza Hut has. You know what? Didn't taste as good as I remember. Would've rather ate homemade pizza-- lesson learned!

For breakfast I just indulged in something that WAS worth it... REAL french toast from scratch! Yummy.. it was sooooo good and filling. All those carbs are going to fuel my workout today.

Jane--- you are such an inspiration with your exercise endevours. I wish I was as dedicated as you!

Welcome Amber! I hope you enjoy these daily check-ins as much as I do. It's a great tool and fantastic group!!

Welcome, Amber!

Well, I'm definitely sore after last night's boot camp class, but was worth it. I re-gained 0.4 pounds out of the 6.4 pounds I lost over the past 9 days (I think my body was in shock when I started adding the additional boot camp class...and the guy I take classes from on Wednesdays and Fridays really pushes us to our limits!), but I'm not going to stress over it.

Today is Zumba, indoor cycling class and yoga. Going to be a long morning, but well worth while! This afternoon, I'll probably do some house cleaning and get my fat clothes ready to donate...and maybe do some shopping at REAL stores for a couple of items for work! Almost everything I have is hanging at my hips....

Have a sensational Saturday, everyone!

Jane

Good morning! Jealous about that Seattle trip, CELIA... And I can't even have trail mix in the house! Addictive. I'm making pumpkin bread this morning for my book group and I will need to stick to one piece. Beautiful day in Virginia. Hope to get out on the water to kayak. The weather is colder here, but we get a break--60 or so. Pefect kayaking weather! Have a wonderful day.

Good morning! (First time posting one of these things.) It's been a rough week with a bit of overindulging in trail mixes (again). Stop beating myself over it, it's done and over, you can get back on track self! Today I'm walking/jogging in a 5K! I'm looking forward to it but I worry it won't be enough. My normal Saturday's at the gym are a strength training class followed by an hour cardio. I know the walk will be great today, being outside in the cool air, but what if isn't enough exercise? I'm thinking too much about this aren't I? Keep telling myself it's ok, everything is ok.

Ready to head toward Seattle today. First, we plan to drop in on a local volksmarch in Vancouver, WA, and see if some old friends will be there.
