DH and I decided to make it a walking day, so we walked about 6 miles or so - including a long (long, long) uphill and then, of course, back down that same hill. Which isn't really a hill, but rather a long incline up a bridge that connect this valley of Seattle with the University District up on top................
I have 3.5 lbs. to lose until I hit my goal weight. I am afraid of trying to maintain since most every time I eat anything that I really shouldn't the next day I see it on the scale. I have not been this thin in over 25 years and it feels great!
Finally putting me on my To Do list!

*sigh* I miss Colorado. I LOVE snow! I was born in Colorado Springs. Where do you live? I've been trying hard to undo the damage I've done to myself lately. I was able to lose 1 pound yesterday and hope for good results when I weigh in tomorrow as well. I'm 2 pounds over goal weight and have been able to eat at the low end of my weight loss range and get good exercise in. I'll have to make sure and make good weekend plans so I can continue to make progress!

Not a lot to report here in the past few days. Holding steady at 148. The scale first registered 147 this morning but then ticked up last minute to 148. BF left for hunting again this morning so I'm on my own until Sunday night.
We also have a bit of a "winter wonderland" here in Colorado. It snowed a few inches last night, so it made for a very pretty drive to work. Also due to the snow, there was way less traffic than normal, so my 60 minute commute turned into a 40 minute one, so that's always nice. Snow is supposed to start up again tonight!
Yesterday was a brutal day fitness-wise. My gym launched an afternoon boot camp class with a new instructor yesterday, so although I did boot camp in the morning, I also went to the one in the afternoon. Can you say DOMS? The afternoon class was a lot of fun, though...and the instructor had us doing a bunch of goofy running drills (after all, exercise is supposed to be FUN, right?), which were awesome and worked me in ways I never imagined. I'll definitely be attending tomorrow afternoon! I'm also working on a list of songs for my instructor, since he has a limited selection (he solicited our input, and by golly, he's going to get mine!).
Food intake was a little low yesterday, which is probably why my run this morning wasn't as good as it could have been. On average, I still ran a 12 minute mile, even with walking 0.5 of the 5.2 miles I did this morning. I'll definitely make sure to eat a little more today, and tonight is errand night (groceries, pet store, Target), so at least I can take it a little easy.
YAYAYAY! I finally got off my butt last night and took pup for a run. Good music, warm sun, cool air, and my favorite running partner was just what I needed. I felt good that the during the last mile I was practically dragging her behind me. It meant that a) she's gotten adequate exercise and b) I can outrun a creature with twice as many legs as me.
BME_22, I'm in the exact same boat this week with groceries. Last night's dinner was sloppy joes made with regular sliced bread and a can of sauce that expired in 2011!
...I'm toying with the idea of approaching my boss with the request to telecommute some days. Traffic is growing worse and worse, I'm spending 3+ hours a day in my car. Add that to 8 hours of sitting at my desk.. it's not healthy. I'll be doing some research today to see how I can make that happen.
Today just might be an USDO (unscheduled day off) for me. I've got a ton of things on my plate (hopefully not my food plate) ending with a trip to the district cross country meet to watch #3 grandson run by for a few seconds at a time. There are only a few places on the course to watch from. At least I'll see him finish. Maybe I can get a walk in.
Have a good day everyone.

Weight is holding steady this morning. I really need to buckle down and start meal planning and getting to the grocery store. Last night I had a sweet potato, brown rice, navy beans, and cheese. I have no idea what we're going to eat tonight. It would help if DH wasn't so darn picky. Sadly, we've just been eating out most nights lately because I haven't been staying on top of the grocery shopping. This is no good!

My weight is trending up, and I know exactly why. I'm going to rein in the eating today and hopefully get in a workout that doesn't involve my shoulder area. I think the couple of rest days have helped, but I feel really run-down.
Been extraordinarily tired this week and sick yesterday. Still managing to keep weight steady, in fact, more so than normal. Going to call the Dr. today and set up an appt to get these hormones regulated. Grateful this morning for praying friends interceeding for some better rest until I can get my meds changed. Adventure run right after work tonight, then cold running clinic on Sat AM. I'll be needing that information soon. Today is supposed to be a high of near 80 and tomorrow a high of 50....sheesh!

Good Morning! I am feeling the effect of all the digging I did yesterday. I am sore all over. Particularly my fingers, shoulders and lower back. Today I plan to do some lighter yardwork, mulching leaves, trimming my fig and possibly transplanting the fig I want to move to a sunnier spot.

I might maybe be coming off my plateau. Went from 139.4 on Monday to 137.2 today but with all the fluctuations lately, I am not sure what to think. I did stay at the bottom of my calorie range yesterday due to an evening art class and maybe I drank less than normal so it could even be a little dehydration. This daily weighing takes some getting used to, LOL. Off for my morning walk. Hope you all have a great Thursday!
