Snow?!! We are hoping to finally get out of the 100's here...will be glad when walking outside is a possibility. All over the page eating - lots of stress, hitting goal recently, undereating, introducing unhealthy foods back, etc. But to practice being kind to myself - I am also checking in here, blogging, reading others blog, staying aware that I need to make an effort to take care of me all during a high stress time.

145.5 ... Up a little because I've had a bladder infection (so this is water weight, I'm sure) that was resistant to the first antibiotic and I felt too cruddy to do any exercise all week. Have turned the corner and got back to the gym this morning - 35 min strength (lower weights & fewer reps!), 35 min on the treadmill (again, slower and less incline than usual), plus my 10 min stretching routine to finish it off. It's thinking seriously about snowing here ... Glad I'm home for the rest of the day. Am making several SP recipes for dinner guests tonight.

Doing well here! I am down 3 lbs. so far this month. Took my sis's grands out bowling and lunch yesterday and had a side salad at Dairy Queen while they sampled all the yummy ice cream stuff. Last two nights were smores by the fire and I brought apples and cheese plate for me. I remain motivated!

Just got home from spin class. Had to bail early on yoga, because I felt numbness in my left pinky finger that I needed to resolve. VERY annoying...will apologize to the instructor the next time I see her (probably Monday).
I'm grabbing a snack before I hit the showers. Picking up my registration packet today for my 5k tomorrow and then running errands this afternoon. I hate to take the car out, but with as much as I need to do, it's a necessary evil. Will also probably do some mending and possibly some crocheting today as well.
Food continues to be on track, which makes me happy. Should be in triple digit weight loss next week. YAY!
Today, I did the Pink Walk for breast cancer. I ran part of it. It was very cold, so I had to figure out how to dress warm to run. One more 5K before the end of the month and maybe I'll find others to keep me going. Cindi

It's a tight ring day. Szechuan Spicy Eggplant is pretty high in sodium even though I used half the soy sauce I did the last time I made it. It's a beautifu fall day--I may yet feel the urge to put a few hundred bulbs in the ground. I love tulips and daffodils and most autumns I find myself on my knees in the flower beds thinking, "Whose bright idea was it to buy this many bulbs?!"
I'm so relieved. I can finally say that I've lost two pounds this week. Adjusting my calorie range actually worked! I was beginning to fear that it wouldn't, and that I'd be stuck at the higher weight FOREVER.
Hit three yard sales at the end of my walk this morning. Love it when I get rewarded that way!
