Gonna be another busy week....worked today - doing abs tonight. Run tomorrow and maybe a pilates or yoga class. Dinner was incredible! Sauteed three colors of bell peppers, onion, tomatoes, and olives with some basil and lemon pepper. Set salmon on top and spread the top with a mixture of light mayo, fat free feta and some more olive slices. Baked until just beginning to flake and the broiled until the cheese/mayo mixture was just starting to brown. Oh my goodness - it was fine dining restaurant good! Now enjoying a hot cup of tea, going to read a bit and then get to bed early.

I got a lot of exercise this weekend, did some volunteer work, and had lunch out with my husband at my favorite restaurant. I stayed fairly close to my calorie range, and didn't gain or lose any weight. All together a really great weekend.

I did great this weekend. The weather is PERFECT this time of year where i live. I have been trying to walk at least one mile a day.
I got Guild Wars 2 and am totally hooked (imagine that, a gamer girl at my age!) So I have to pry myself away from my computer.
Been eating healthfully and decided even "fun size" Halloween snacks are way too much of a trigger.
Been at the high end of my goal weight for way long and am determined to get to the low end.

Had a good weekend except for the Redskins loss. Denny Hamlin won in New Hampshire, so on to Dover next week where I have tickets.

Cool and dry today. I spent the morning at the car dealership and got my car fixed. They said it was a problem that happens occasionally after an engine is pulled, so it was free. And at least they had free internet there.

My weight is back to normal this morning.

Have a great day!

I had a pretty good weekend, food-wise, and my weight is coming down. FIL went home from the hospital yesterday. He has a walker and will likely need home dialysis. He's pretty crotchety about his health matters at times. I don't think he likes his sons taking control of his life--even if he's not able to do the job himself. I slept pretty well but still woke up too early. Let's make this a great week!

Good Morning SparkTeam emoticon

I love reading what everyone else is up to! It's a great start to my day.

I just had a weekend of extremes.. I rocked my fitness but kinda let myself go on nutrition. Saturday I ran my personal best 5k 33:48, then I indulged in some beer drinking. Sunday the bf and I hiked Stone Mountain, decided that wasn't enough for us and ended up doing some trail running as well. But I also had waaaay too much fun in the kitchen where I made some fall goodies and ate 400 cals over! Not going to give that a second thought, what's done is done. But I'm going to focus on better planning my splurges for the future.

I've got to do a LOT of fitness this week if I'm going to 1,000 monthly minutes. I brought a change of clothes and a towel, so this evening I'll go to hot yoga and sweat out all that beer and score 90 fitness minutes!

Morning, everybody! Well, I backslid on the wine-limit goal last night but somehow caught a break and lost weight anyway. Back on track tonight. I'm determined, now, to get back to the middle of my range, because I've been in the top half for too long now.

Good morning, team!

Yesterday was somewhat of a bust. Not horrific, but too much beer and not enough water. I'll remedy that today. I did get in a really good cardio workout.

Lunch is packed, hubs is out of town, so dinner will be something easy and light. Circuit workout planned tonight. I feel like I didn't sleep at all last night, so I'm hoping to change that tonight.

Have a great day all!

Sorry about the funeral, Brooklyn. Hope it is more a celebration of life.

No fires here on the East Coast. If fact the day is quite clear after the last front cleaned the air out. Sure hope for rain for those of you affected by drought and fires.

Very Fall like weather we're having. Plus I've got cold. Didn't do any workout yesterday and I will attempt to run this morning. No guarantee's on that though. I'm holding my weight which is good. I'd still like to drop a couple of lbs., but I'm ok if I don't.

Have a great day!

Good morning. I'm establishing a routine of having my morning coffee here. It's 6am and still dark.

Swede_Su, If we're on opposite coasts, are you up at 3 am?

I've got to get out early for my run/walk since I'm singing at a funeral at 10. I've been attending too many of those lately.
Lunch will be at the church afterwards.
Dinner is at my daughter's house and she cooks healthy. No problem there.

Have a good day everyone.

Yes, it is Monday, isn't it? About to do my morning workout and may try to get in a walk before work. If not this morning than I'll try mid-day. Have a great week everyone, Pat

good monday morning!
another beautiful summer day in the methow, except for the smoke from the wildfires. still, we drove 12 miles to the north, where the air is clearest, and i completed the last long run before the half marathon oct 6. we were all a tired afterwards (DH ran 8 miles, his longest distance) - even pelle the border collie didn't pick up his frisbee for a couple of hours!

so that took care of fitness. nutrition was probably low, but once it warmed up no one was really hungry - made a tabouli salad based on quinoa and with chickpeas for lunch, and then salsa and bean dip for dinner. midnight weight was 103.6, staying on the low end of my range.

hope everyone has a great week ahead!
