Do you exercise? How frequently per week? Yes, 4 days a week. 3 days of combo cardio/strength, 1 cardio.

For me the "home equipment" doesn't really qualify since it's a big exercise ball but I use it just to bounce on. Not part of the approved plan but I've been doing it for probably 2 years off and on and it helps me feel good with exercise.

I might have been in the research group that this data was taken from since it is the results of a prior group. It seems to me that the exercise questionnaire was worded in such a way as to track people who worked out at home as opposed to gym memberships? I do not think it was solely for persons who had "equipment" as that part of it included things like exercise bands and yoga blocks. Sometimes the forms caused me to have to put things in places that they didn't seem to fit exactly in order to get as close as possible to the intent of the questionnaire?

62NVON - I like the FIRM videos too but I have an assortment of different ones. I have some Jillian Michaels, Insanity, P90X, various yoga. I actually do most of my exercises by playing tennis, running, swimming and cycling. I have a lot of interest and no real talent LOL

Do you exercise on home equipment? I exercise at home, but only equipment is dumbbells, a step bench and DVDs.

Do you exercise? How frequently per week? Yes, 5-6 times a week around 40-45 minutes average each day.

Holly, what DVDs do you use? I use the FIRM almost exclusively, but always looking for recommendations.

Yes, NancyAnne. The tally thing went south so I edited the original post and just went back to the first questions. Now just having people answer yes or no and I am going to try and tally them up as best I can, posting the latest results as I do it on the original post.

My answers are I eat breakfast every day, weigh daily. I have a home treadmill exercise bands, ball, free weights which I use. I also have a gym membership mainly for access to the pool, but also for trainers for motivation. And I make sure to get at least 2-3 ten minute walks spread over my work breaks. So, yes to all four.

Do you eat breakfast every day? Most days, yes. I maybe skip 1-2 mornings a month, and it's due to laziness, not to avoid calories.

Do you exercise on home equipment? No. I don't have room for equipment. Unless you count yoga supplies, dumbbells, balance ball, etc.

Breakfast 19 days out of 20, probably..
Weigh for one week at a time and average the weight, 4x a year at the season's changes.
Some exercise on home equipment; some at dance class.

Since these are the most common behaviors, I'll keep it to them.

Yes, this is really important to me.

Do you weigh daily?
Yes

Do you exercise on home equiptment?
yes. free weights, treadmill and DVDs

Do you exercise? Yes walking mostly and free weights

How frequently per week?
I try for at least 3 walks 3-5 miles and free weights every other day. (not counting short, frequent dog walks.)

I eat breakfast every day.
I weigh every day.
I have plenty of equipment at home and do one workout here per week.
My workout schedule: 2 - 3 runs a week, 3.5-5.5 miles each - 2 Centergy classes per week, ST 3x a week (power class, kettlebells at home, full body workout)

Yes, cardio 7 days a week. Trying to add back in strength training and going for 2 to 3 times a week.

Edit: Please do not worry about using the tally system as it has become incorrect (I will try to keep a running total by the number of posts so posts only stating answers would be helpful).

Out of 30 , 28 eat breakfast every day
Out of 30, 22 weigh daily, 8 do not weigh daily
Out of 30, 27 exercise on home equiptment, 3 do not exercise on home equiptment
Out of 30, 28 exercise, 1 does not do formal exercise but walks and is active, 1 inconsistent
