Saturday night I had pain in my calf again. I went to sleep again, Then I woke upon again.
The phone woke me up on Sunday at 8:00 a.m. Someone called me and asked me if i was up and at Am. I said I had just got up and they asked me if I would get get to church on time. I always get up at 8:00. She said would I be able get to church on time. I had to hurry but made it. I made it I made it . I slept almost all day Monday and slept almost all day Sunday.
I did not make it Monday with much sense.
Tomorrow I go to the doctor to see what is going on with me.

I am really proud of me today. Despite waking up late, I got a short work out in. I also tracked my food. I realized I am eating about 1100 calories up until 6 or 7 pm at night for a 1600-2000 calorie range. Pretty sure I end up bingeing and overeating.

Tomorrow I am going to Olive Garden! Super excited for the soup and salad!

This is the first day since going to to ER on Wednesday that I feel like myself again. Finally! I've had a great day foodwise so far and will be heading off to the gym in a bit. I should be able to get a full-fledged workout in. Woo hoo!

My name's Tina. I lost more than 90 pounds between March 2010 and March 2012 and have been keeping if off ever since.

I am determined to get so exercise every day no matter how little. This is more for my back (degenerative disk) than anything and I am putting off surgery as long as possible. I need to do this to be able to keep going. So, despite the rain and wanting to sleep in this morning I went to a Body Recall exercise class this morning. It is easy moving and stretches, but it get me moving in the morning.

Thought I was going to have to leave the gym after a lackluster 20 minutes of cardio due to a headache. But I decided to start my workout and see how it went. So glad I did- Got the whole thing done!

So it was legs and abs today. Might get another cardio session in tomorrow, to make up for the "blah" one I had today

Holding steady on my weight, which is a good thing.

Good morning, everyone! I am in class right now but we have a short break. I'm in class on Mondays from 8:30 to 5:30--long day! But it's a good day to have very well-planned meals, since so much is structured.

I survived my first weekend in maintenance with minimal damage. 132.0 this morning, up only .5 lb from my lowest 131.5, and that's after almost a week of "real food." We did go out for frozen yogurt last night, but I watched my portion and had only fruit for topping. Good to know that I can manage an occasional treat and not have it get me off track.

Looking forward to a salad and bean soup for lunch. Tomorrow's my long run (9.5 miles), which I'm actually excited about!

Have a good day everyone~

Slept ALMOST until the alarm went off this morning. Did OK with food yesterday in spite of husband having an old friend over to watch football, which meant an open bag of potato chips. emoticon I learned this morning that the hot cereal I made yesterday reheats well, so now we'll see if it lasts me until lunch. I'm determined to get my weight back down to at least "goal", if not the pre-vacation low. One "eating event" on the horizon this week. A work potluck with a "comfort food" theme. Yikes! emoticon Have a wonderful Monday, all!

Lori, I know what you mean about difficulty sleeping before travel. I'm always afraid I will sleep through my alarm, since we usually try for the first flight of the day at 6 am. That means getting up at 3, but then we can sleep on the plane. We're also trying Chia seeds, but I think I need to use them more regularly.

Christie, ugh for rough weekends. Mine was split with Saturday good, Sunday not so good, but I had a lot of activity yesterday with a long (for me) jog, ST, yoga, and cleaning (and cleaning and cleaning).

Sounds like everyone is staying active despite injuries and mobility issues. Good for you!

I just posted my first blog. Yesterday I finally mastered that recipe calculator. I'm trying to be a full fledged member of this place.

I've planned my food for the day in the tracker which was tough since I'll be out and about from noon to 9 pm, but the numbers look good if I stick to it.

Now I'm headed out for a run/walk. I have a rehab appt this afternoon and I hope it will be the last. I just want to continue the exercises on my own. Rural living is nice, but this 100 mile round trip to the ortho guy is getting to be a drag.

The race is not always to the swift, but to those who keep on running.

Good morning! 2 weeks today since I got hurt, and I was hoping I would be able to start exercising today. Still barely able to sit, slowly walking, and did just a few stretches the other day and thinking even that might have set me back so still have to wait. Very hard to be so limited in activities. Still it is a new day and I will find ways to fill it. Everyone have a great one!

I am always so determined to get 8-9 hours of sleep at night. But when a trip is pending, I get all excited and can't sleep. We're not even leaving today, and last night I managed to fall asleep early at 8 but woke up at 1:30 and could not fall asleep again. I plan on taking a nap this afternoon. I can't see staying awake from 1:30 am till 9 tonight!

I've been using Chia seeds for the past week, and they really make me feel full and keep me from snacking and overeating. I think it's just what I needed.

good morning! slow start to monday, alarm did not go off even though i checked it right before going to sleep. will have to set a backup alarm tomorrow...

sunday's highlight was my 12 mile run-walk-run (galloway method). perfect conditions, gorgeous day with cool temps in the 50s when i started, and the heat (77F) only felt in the last half mile which was open, without trees shading the road. i felt great, though the rest of the day was a bit hazy mentally. we went to a mexican restaurant, and apart from a few extra chips, which were no problem on a day when i spent almost 1000 calories, the choices were good.

must get back to ST this week, must go shopping - running out of veggies, which is never a good sign in a vegan household!

have a great monday!
