good morning, yesterday did not turn out as well as planned. did not get a real walk in, certainly not one where the miles could be counted. too many errands in the city, plus a sick doggie in the car (and a car that had to be thoroughly cleaned out... argh...). breakfast and lunch were not too bad, but on the trip home, we munched a baguette. i still had some of the healthy choices i had brought for the trip over the mountains, but saw the results of far too much bread on the scale this morning, plus a bit of salt from restaurant meals. hopefully today's scheduled 12-mile run-walk-run will a) happen and b) make up for it.
when we got home i was just too wiped to update spark stuff, so there went my streaks again. and i'm afraid if i stop caring, i'll stop caring... and i don't want to let that happen. i've been trying to decide whether i'll return to the 5% challenge for fall as a maintainer, but maybe that's just the commitment i need. and meanwhile, i'm glad i had the wiggle room of being as much as 3 lbs below goal, because i'm starting to inch over it...
