Got an hour of strength training in before church - super crowded, but it's done and now for some laundry, cleaning and family time. Need to look at this week and get it all planned out. Trying to get some fitness in everyday, but am doing good right now to do 3-4 days. Got to get my calorie burn up for the week to keep dropping these extra pounds. On the good side, I am down 9 pounds since I got back on the bandwagon (seriously) and to get to my optimum goal range, only need about 4-5 more and 9-10 to my optimal goal weight. Might even be able to make it in the month if I really push it, but I'll be happy to be there by Nov. 1st.

Hi everyone! Had a good day with some walking to and from then running in the park. Got back to my usual eating plan after Friday evening's planned splurge. Meeting some friends later this evening and have worked a few drinks into my plan for the day. Feeling good!

Busy day yesterday with helping clean up and landscape at the Pregnancy Information Center and then work until 10PM. Up without the snooze again today though and had breakfast and baby sis is walking the dogs, so I'm taking advantage of the time this morning to get in a strength class before going to the later church service.

Good Morning. Off to the Renaissance festival, I have a plan and am looking forward to having fun. Started the day with the boot camp day 1 video and some core exercises. Had a good breakfast and will be bringing water with me.

Was away for 2 weeks; gained some weight back but not panicking about it. Good to be back to my eating/exercise routine. emoticon Pat

Ate in range, made some healthy choices (like taco salad instead of tacos), and spent much of the day polishing silver or furniture - busy but not exactly cardio.

Was up and at it this morning with a good 60 minute workout.
Had to do some errands today so walked them with my backpack.
On track with food so far.
Have a great day everyone!

yesterday started out exhausting and exhausted - i had woken up at 12:30 a.m. and didn't go back to sleep. was going to just accept being miserable the whole day, but instead we kept our plans to go hiking with friends. wound up doing a 9 mile hike, and DH said he had not seen me moving that quickly on a hike in 20 years. dinner out afterwards, perhaps could have eaten a little less, but after 9 miles up and down a mountain it probably evened out. and that was the end of jet lag day 2.

today, we already started the day with a 7 mile walk. temp was 44F when we stared, 72F when we finished. stopped for coffee and a goodie afterwards, then home to a savory smoothie (nice to have my blender again now that we are home!).

weight is still up a couple of pounds, but could still be water weight. and if not, well - at least i had the leeway since i was at the bottom end of my "range". now to keep things here...

Didn't sleep well last night. Breakfast out, of the sort that will last until at least mid afternoon. I didn't finish what I'd ordered, but still kept picking after I should have stopped. I'm making a potato salad for a church choir barbecue tomorrow afternoon. I always over-eat at such events. Partly because I love to eat and the food is good, but partly because I'm a little shy and eating is something to do at parties when you're between conversations. This happens less with this group because I'm more comfortable with them, but it's still something I'm aware of. "Step AWAY from the buffet!" emoticon Have a wonderful weekend!

Good afternoon! Had a busy day. Walked 5 K and worked in my garden. Did the bootcamp video. I am now 7 pounds from maintenance.
BeckyAnne I would not worry about a 2 pound up and down. As long as you float between the 2 you are doing fine.
Have a great weekend. Tomorrow I go to the Renaissance festival.

Had a very tired day yesterday, but got my 10,000 steps in. Today I woke up feeling like the start of a cold and has progressed to a mild earache. Tells me why I was so doggone tired yesterday! I had hung out with my 21 yr old son on Thurs and he had a pretty new cold, sneezing and all. He just appeared at the house and I didn't feel I could send him away. I value our friendship. Oh well, at least I'll get the fall cold out of the way. I'm going to baby myself for a few days. Will still make an effort to get a reasonable amount of steps in. Never too sure how much to work out when I'm sick. Would just lowering my food intake be helpful to balance out fewer minutes of exercise? I haven't had much chance to see how to treat a cold while being on this journey, I have only been sick once.

BeckyAnne, that's great about your weight. And yes those fluctuations are annoying, but after 7 months of that I've realized that it doesn't mean I'm gaining ALL that weight back, like I used to worry.

BeckyAnne, Congrats on getting there. Now for staying there. Those fluctuations about drive me nuts, too. But be proud to be where you want to be. With dedication and determination I believe we can both learn to stay within our goal range.

Log, Good going!!

4AHealthyBMI, (I'm blanking on your real name at the moment - forgive this poor brain -- is it Amy?) OK. It's done. Move on. You'll be fine and you know it. Well, mad it through the fair yesterday and didn't do too bad. Carbs, Fat and Protein all in line, but low on the iron, calcium and fiber, but back on the bandwagon today. Had about a quarter of a pound gain, but I'm sure that was water. Got to work tonight 2-10, and this morning I am volunteering with end of the summer season clean-up at the Pregnancy Information Center. Will get to sleep in a little tomorrow, then strength training before church....and, if I'm lucky a little run after.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Urgh. overate yesterday. By a LOT.

emoticon

Not getting enough sleep. Need to work on that, because it leads to poor decisions.

This morning I had the most annoying dream, that I had a clock that does the bird chirps every hour and that I couldn't turn off the chirping. I tried the button on the back and that didn't work. I even (in my dream) smashed the clock up into pieces and took the batteries out and it STILL wouldn't stop!

I finally woke up to find my cat playing with one of his toys at foot of the bed. One of his chirpy bird toys. LOL So I took it away from him and maybe now I'll be able to get a little more sleep this morning!

Never, ever, EVER give up!

Had to get up early this morning to get hubs out the door for work. I went ahead and put on my workout gear for later. I'm sitting here with my coffee listening to the owls talk to each other.

Yesterday was a pretty good day eating-wise. I did have an ice cream treat after dinner, but got 12 cups of water and about 8 freggies. I also did a short cardio workout. The scale is up from yesterday, but AF is on her way to visit today, so I'm not stressing. Since hubs is working today, I won't have eating out challenges. I just need to figure out what's for dinner.

Have a super Saturday and make it a healthy one!
