Hello, everyone! This is my first post on here since joining a couple of days ago, but I wanted to get in on the action since connecting with people like this on a daily basis seems like a really good way to keep on track to maintaining my weight loss. I've been getting back into working out after almost a month of being sick. I worked out this morning, and good grief! I was sore by the time I went to work. I couldn't believe how much my body got weak in that time. What used to be fairly easy workouts for me are now making me sore. I can definitely see a difference in my body already from not working out (losing some definition), but I won't let that deter me. I am determined to be fit. I got a stressful project at work pretty much out of the way today and am looking forward to a wedding tomorrow evening. My friend Chelsea and I are going to get all dolled up, which will be the highlight of our weekend since neither one of us ever does. Our plan is to eat before the wedding to avoid the buffet and dance our booties off! It should be a lot of fun, which I definitely need. I hope everyone has a fun weekend, too!

Did a lil' shopping, a lil' local candidate campaign research at home, picked up Gianna for a sleepover then DSSECRETS, G, & I went to dinner in Downtown Dunedin. Now, it's to bed early so we can get up early for the Aids Walk in St Petersburg in the morning. This could be the first 5K our granddaughter walks with D. I will run it for the second time in two years for those who can't run or walk. I'm sure there will be stories to tell after the day is done tomorrow!

TGIF! Bloat seems to be on the downswing for the week. My high weight this week was lower than my high weight last week, so that's something. Was surprised to see I logged 18 "moderate minutes" on my pedometer yesterday just running around doing what I needed to do. I'm doing all kinds of self-maintenance this week--eye exam, scheduled a mammogram, made an appointment to see my rheumatologist. Still have to schedule with my dentist and a check back with the vet at the end of the month for the kitten This weekend I've got a potluck to attend which is always hazardous. I hope to enjoy the sun while it lasts--clouds are moving in by Sunday.

75 min Bootcamp done, 1/2 hr speedwalk done, club work done, healthy meals eaten, so far so good except I weigh 117, which is under my minimum goal weight of 118. My range is 118-125. May take an advanced step class this evening if time permits.

Good workout this morning. Tried a new DVD: Cathe Turbo Barre. Was a really good one for the legs and butt muscles! Gorgeous weather here & got out of the office for a walk with friends at lunchtime. On track with my nutrition tracker too, so all is well. Have a great day!

Had a great day yesterday! Crazy workout day - 5 mile run AND a centergy class. Decent nutrition all day. My splurge was a homemade whole wheat pumpkin muffin with my low-fat cheese stick in the afternoon instead of a piece of fruit with the cheese. I was down 0.8 pounds this AM even though it is CD1. I'm thinking the extra pound I am carrying may be toast when my bloating abates!
So far so good today. Very reasonable nutrition. Challenging strength training workout. Shopping with a friend (mental health is important too!). Healthy dinner planned but I'm popping into a purse party at a friend's house and plan to treat myself to some sangria.
Nothing planned for the weekend. That could be dangerous!
Going to the driving range with DH this morning (if work will stop calling him on his day off), dinner at Chili's with friends and then a Southern Gospel Quartet concert. Love Southern Gospel! This should be a great day.

I am preparing for the weekend. I have a report to write and to present on Saturday morning at a meeting and then hop in the car and drive 200 miles to my husband's 50th high school reunion Saturday evening. Sunday visit with family and friends and return home.
Next week, I need to get back to a consistent and more in depth exercise program.

Did okay yesterday - lower in cals than the previous day but less walking - however, fitted pants are looser so either they stretched a bit, I'm less bloated, or maybe, just maybe, I lost a bit with all the walking the prior two days.

I've been doing really well eating and exercising. 1 lb gained? Not sure where that came from. I have 2 lbs to lose and they are being stubborn. I lost 1 and then it decided to come back. Need to change things up a bit around here I guess. Not sure what yet, but hopefully by the end of next week, these last 2 will be gone. Fingers crossed!
