I was supposed to find out my results of the blood clot the 21st of September. I called my power of attorney He said to call the nurse since the doctor isn't here and if she wouldn't give me the results to ask her if I should get another doctor. I always have to talk to the receptionist first so I told her that and told her I could be dead by then. She said just a minute. She talked to the nurse and they said if it was negative or if I had a blood clot the technician would have reported it right away. My power of attorney is going with me the next time to ask him questions as he is in health care. So I am not so worried now but hope that pain doesn't come back.

survived wednesday, which was endless, traveling home from sweden to winthrop. food choices were as good as can be expected, exercise not so much - well, different, running through airport terminals, lifting suitcases. a day to be survived. too tired when we got home after 27 hours to spark, so most of my streaks will now start over.
and that's what today will be about - starting over.

I did get my 30 minutes of walking in. I stayed at work until almost 9:00 so a 14 hour day, minus a quick errand right after school. I'll have to make sure I walk every morning and continue strength training at least three times a week.

Today I feel I failed. I went out to Applebee's and had pasta and an appetizer. Than, I ran out of time and didn't have time to work out. I seriously was mad at myself. On the positive, when I went to work at the Y, I ran into a member that has seriously hard core fitiness. She made me feel better about not doing the full marathon. And, she gave me the idea/goal of reaching x-amount of squats. She does 350. Isn't that terrific? I am a numbers gal and since reaching my goal weight, I have struggled with working toward goals..

Got out of work and hour and a half late tonight, so I missed BOTH my classes at the gym. Sis brought home roasted chicken though, so I'm making homemade salsa and trying out the flatbread recipe from spark with a brocolli slaw and beans - lots of leftovers for the next couple of days and time leftover to get in a bootcamp DVD and get to bed early. Can sleep a little later than normal and still make it to the gym for abs and then try a spin class.

continuing the travel plan - eat a bit more and walk a whole lot more - 7.5 miles thus far, and I'm probably ending the day with cals about 1700. No scale, but I'll put on the skinny pants tomorrow and I expect they'll be fine.

MJZHere, I hurt my tailbone over 50 years ago and it still hurts when I lie on a hard surface or spend much time in a hard chair.
I am trying mightily to eat right here at Club Med. One plate, mostly veggies, no desserts. Good as the variety is, I'll be glad to be back home in my own kitchen. And back to morning weighing.
No one ever got up in the morning wishing she'd eaten more the night before.

MJZHERE I am so sorry. I hope it heals quickly. Try to figure out what exercises you can do that won't hurt. Do try to find something you can do.

ouch! I hurt my tailbone last winter when I was walking in the rain and slipped on our little bridge. It took forever to get better and I hated that I couldn't go on my walks. I don't think anything makes it better but time, sorry for you.

Hurt my tailbone on a rollerskating fall Monday. Still barely walking. Not a happy camper because I had just really gotten into exercise routine in August and loving it. It was hard getting myself started and now I don't like being shutdown. Hope I can get the momentum back once I can move again.

Eating was so so yesterday, but workout was great. Ran 1 mile (12:09) and then did massive amounts of strength training.
Eating today will be a challenge because we are going out to dinner at Friday's for my partner's mom's birthday. There are virtually no healthy choices there.

Glad you're back on track, Christie! Yesterday, I didn't exercise, because my back was very sore and "catchy," meaning I'd feel an occasional catch as I walked. Last night's massage, however, took away most of the pain, and the weird thing was that the massage therapist hardly touched my lower back. Instead, she worked more on my legs, which I hadn't even mentioned, so it just goes to show how much is interconnected.
Had a good eating day yesterday, and avoided alcohol. By the time I got home from my massage, I ate and started getting ready for bed. Funny, I just couldn't eat that much, and without the empty alcohol calories, I came in under my range, but I needed that success.

Good morning, team!
The weekend disaster of eating and drinking shows today. A tiny bit of my gain may be DOMS, because yesterday and today I am sore head to toe. But I think it's mostly from my weekend indiscretions.
I drank over 12 cups of water and got lots of freggies yesterday. I'm below my scream weight, but barely, so time to kick it back in high gear.
