6AM and animals have been up and out and feed, Breakfast eaten, snack packed and getting ready for church. Have lighting this morning, so I'll leave at 6:30 and get home around 1PM. Then to get ready for next week. Hoping to get in a little run if this heat and humidity passes, otherwise I'll try to do a DVD. Finally saw the scale drop .4 lbs! Not what I had hoped for, but I'll take it!

How to stay beautiful

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run his fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge that you'll never walk alone.

a good saturday - 10K race completed and nutrition planned around it (peanut butter sandwich and banana for energy to carry me through the race), with dinner at indian restaurant to celebrate - really, a great saturday - despite the rain (and mud).

Working the long weekend. No plans to exercise need rest from the last four days of multiple sessions each day. Meals are planned and packed. I feel energized by the month of September the cooler weather that will allow me to spend more time outside being active. Also looking forward to the 30 day blog challange Tanya started and accomplishing the goals i have set out for myself for this month.

Had a nice hike this morning and am eating light today. We're going to an engagement party tonight and I'll need to be wise in choosing what I eat. I plan to do just that!

Made a good move yesterday and rejoined the Y. After 6 weeks away, I realized I missed swimming and the elliptical. So this morning by 8:10 I was in the pool, for 30 minutes of laps, then on to the elliptical. Came home and did Jillian Shred stage 1 and took a half-hour walk. Way more than I usually do in a day, but just felt extra motivated today.

I need to eat at the high end of my calorie range today to offset all the calories I burned.

In range thus far, eating is reasonable, got some walking in, and we head out tomorrow. So the afternoon is for re-packing, and then relaxing this evening.

Hi Everyone!!! Finally have a whole weekend off. Got a good nights sleep and got out early before the rain hit and headed to one of my favorite running paths. Used to run that path when I was training for my halfs last year, but I've lost alot of what I had gained. I DID get in 3.9 miles though and will be doing a bunch of food prep for the next week today. Kale chips/eggs and oats muffins etc. Then tomorrow will be lighting at church, so that's about 6 or so hours. Hoping to find time for another run....an easy 3.1 with a running buddy, then back to work next week. Happy Labor Day Everyone!

hi everyone,
the munchkin is over for the day & spending the night. So at 5 year old, she is filled w/energy and we are going to the pool to play. Plus going to the playground to play on slides, bars etc. Going to change my Sept goals to be non-weight but more on nutrition. 4 veggies and 3 fruits/day, 6 glasses of water and exercise 5 times/week.

Have a great healthy day

Every day I am on the verge of making slight changes that would make all the difference in my life.

A new month! I'll start it off. I'm getting rid of my bloat. No big plans for the holiday weekend, but husband just suggested we go for a drive to Mt Baker. As I expected, my kitten has shared his ringworm with me. Oh well, he's worth the trouble, really he is! I cream his ear and forehead and then my arm. We're in it together! Have a great weekend all!
