Did okay with eating today and had plans to get to the gym tonight but wound up working an hour late and missed out on my classes. Should have gone anyway, but haven't really gotten the knack of motivating myself when plans fall through. Sticking with it though. Finally a day off tomorrow, so I'm off to bed at a decent hour to get a good nights sleep and get to the gym first thing in the am.

Watched the 2011 Kona Ironman tonight. What an inspiration!! My favorite part is watching normal people like us finish - really makes you think it is possible to do it AND finish! I have my first sprint triathlon next month and so excited!!
Today was a good day for exercising - 198 minutes. I don't think I ate enough calories to support the energy used in exercising.. I seem to eat too many or too few. I just can't get it right. I don;t want to spend my life tracking my calories in maintenance but I know I need help in this area.

Finally got back to regular yoga practice and did a fair amount of walking with sister on various shopping trips today. I'm about 3.4 lbs. above goal weight, but am working to be at or below goal by Oct. 6th for 45th college reunion. Yes, I am OLD!!! but I sure don't feel old.
Lost 65 lbs and maintained since 2006.

Hey all....long tough day at work, but I'm lacing up the shoes now and Gramin is searching for satellites. Family is eating and I will be chowing down on some fat free stuffing and yogurt and then heading out to run....the pork chop and green beans and salad will wait till I get my run on!

Hi all
today has been a really boring day and the boredom has set my snacking into over drive. nothing that was really "bad" just a constant grazing... I need to stop! I should get out of the house and do something!! Also part of the problem is that I'm trying to get down to 130 and this morning found my projected progress line dipping below my goal line, giving me that false scenes of 'well I'm losing to much to fast so I might as well get some extra calories'. that kind of thinking might be justified after a few days of dipping but after just one? nhhaaaaaa probably not.
i'm going to nip it in the bud for the rest of the night!

after yesterday's ten miles of walking, today was limited to "just" a 4 mile run. calories were still on the low side, but we were invited to friends for "snacks" in the evening. i broke every rule in the book, from chips to olives to even having cheese (yes, i'm vegan, and i rarely break that rule), but i hate making a fuss (and i am a health-based vegan, not philosophical). still, because of the low calories (and all the miles we've been racking up) the scale did not seem to mind. and tomorrow is another day....

Yes, today is another day! I was doing OK yesterday, but then after dinner my husband decided we needed to go out to a pub trivia night. This involved a couple of drinks and a few french fries that I hadn't planned on. My weight has ballooned over the last two days, but I think it'll go back down tomorrow, as long as I don't do anything crazy this evening. I haven't been sleeping well and that seems to lower my self-control. I have to remember that eating isn't going to make me less tired!

Christie, glad for new days! Lori, I like that star idea. It's neat to see a good visual instead of slogging through page after page on the website to see what I did.
Good day today so far. Got frustrated with budget analyst's constant drop-ins to whisper stuff about someone she's upset with, interrupting my work. So I put on my walking shoes and took my "lunch period" early to get away. Felt good! And a total stranger, also out for a walk, told me to keep up the good work when we passed each other. Whoop!
Also on track with food and water. Finally, I went to a short fitness seminar on posture and ergonomics in the office. At least for now, I'm concentrating on sitting up straight.

I squeezed in a 40 min. walk yesterday - about 2 miles. (We're in the process of moving off island, so things are crazy hectic.)
I kept my cals low because a friend invited us over for a feast - six (or seven?) course Italian dinner! It was wonderful, I had about 4 servings of freggies, and it included pasta, bread, two desserts............I had small portions of everything, but definitely was over my range of cals! It was fabulous, though!
And today, at my dr appt, I weighed in at .2 lbs less than in March - now that is maintaining! (Except that I have more to lose, LOL - but at least it means I didn't gain, despite that sumptuous dinner!)

Got over 16,000 steps in yesterday. Felt good.
Yesterday I met all my goals for the day. I have 5 main ones that I keep track of on a calendar instead of on SP. I give myself stars for each goal met. If I get 29 or more stars at the end of the week, I get a huge gold star and $5 to put in a savings toward a body bug or some heart rate monitor that has a chest band. I just started this 2 weeks ago and have made my weekly goal twice. It really motivates me. Star charts work for me!
Bought a hula hoop this morning. I needed to have something fun to do for exercise. It actually is quite a workout as I'm just getting the hang of it after not having hooped for 40+ years!

Good morning, team!
Yesterday did NOT go as planned after I got home from work. I won't go into the gory details, but it involved cutting my workout short and not eating a proper dinner. Nor did I get enough water.
Today is a new day. Yesterday's issues were resolved, thankfully, before bed. My lunch and healthy snacks are packed for work. I've already made a dent in my water goal for the day, and nothing is going to sabotage my workout tonight.
Two more sleeps until a long weekend at the beach. I am SO ready to relax for a few days.
