i read the first chapter of the "no S diet" - no snacks, no sugar, and no second helpings, except on saturday, sunday or special occasions - and since it was saturday, well, decided to put it into practice. also, with ten miles in yesterday, i was still losing weight today, and actually felt low on calories. breakfast was the usual soy yogurt, nectarine, musli and chia seeds, lunch zuchini broccoli soup with white beans, plus beet and spinach salad. by mid afternoon very hungry, had another bowl of soup (really, all veggies). calories still low. we went chantarelle (wild mushroom) picking in the forest for 2 hours before dinner, and enjoyed a nice glass of wine or two while cleaning them - plus some (ahem!) potato chips! dinner was wild mushrooms on toast, desert green grapes.
and tomorrow is another day - weight is still good, 8 miles walked today, so i expect everything to be within range even tomorrow. which is another day, ready to start over.
