wednesday was running day, and both DH and i were oddly tired all day - probably the aftermath of sleep lost monday when i took DD to the airport at 3 a.m.; we finally perked up at 9 pm and took a 3 mile walk_and_talk to celebrate. otherwise spent a large part of the day baking on the rock by the fjord and swimming when it got too warm - it was one of the best days of the summer (of which we have not had many). i've been pushing off work deadlines all week, figuring it would rain soon enough.
food-wise we are still eating leftovers from the kids' farewell party plus our party for neighbors; good choices except i didn't really have to eat that second tortilla shell when i had made a taco salad on a bed of lettuce, spinach and arugula. the scale did not seem to mind.
our schedule has been odd and we have only been eating two meals, postponing eating until after the walk or run, but taking such long walks or late runs that it is almost noon. i think we are still getting adequate calories - the tracker just shows i am eating more at those two meals - but i wonder if that might be part of the fatigue we are feeling. today (thurs) we will eat something before the walk.

Didn't get any yoga done yesterday... I usually average a 45 minute sequence 5 times a week because I was cleaning house for my sister's visit. She arrives this evening. I was dripping in sweat, but so pleased with how the house is looking and I have been doing it all with local household products... no harsh chemicals. Just the kitchen floor left to wash and then I do plan to do some yoga, shower and relax until we go to airport.

the bread-pudding was really good!! I did make it with 1/2 almond milk and 1/2 non fat evaporated milk. turned out great and the calories really weren't as bad as I thought, about 270 a serving, yummy stuff!! the chocolate sauce on top probably added another 100 calories though LOL good thing I only had about half a serving. I made it to the gym for a short run and a ST class I feel so much better now that I got that in!! now if I can just keep my calories form going too sky high for the rest of the night ... wish me luck

Got in a walk again today and am on track to exceed 12,000 steps again today. Have been going a little over my calorie range most days, though. And work has been a stress mine the last two days. I have a tic in one eyelid, one hand was shaking this morning, and I have just reached the end of my productivity. Just. Plain. Tired. And I'm so outta here as soon as quitting time comes.

Today is my 50th birthday. The number on the scale this morning was my "fantasy weight" from the time I was 13. Today I will eat what I want and enjoy it and attempt to do so without guilt. I will try to enjoy my day and not be disappointed. I have that problem with birthdays--I have high expectations and at the same time expect to be let down, and usually am.

Good morning, team! I cannot believe we are halfway through August.
Yesterday was a very good day eating-wise. I drank about 12 cups of water trying to flush the previous day's pretzel chips and TOM induced water retention. I did an old-school step aerobics workout, which is always fun.
I'm a little disappointed with today's WI (Wednesday is my official WI day, even though I weigh daily). I know I have TOM and ate a little extra over the weekend, but still disappointed to end up with a 3 pound gain. For my SP WI, I am going to switch to the moving average method and record my trend weight once I have a couple of weeks of daily recording input.
Oh well, motivation to clean up my act and not let this blip become permanent. All my food is planned for today except for dinner. I haven't decided what to do there yet. I had a circuit workout planned tonight, but I am having a major flare of bursitis in my shoulder, so I may do cardio instead.
Before I forget to mention this... I will more than likely not be able to start this thread the 24th through the 27th. Anyone is welcome to start it those days or any days for that matter.
