well, though i joined this team in june at what i originally set as my goal, i decided to go a bit lower - and today, for the first time, i saw that magic number on the scale. and it arrived just one day after the goal date on the weight tracker - not bad!
it was a strange day, i had to drive DD and her BF to the airport at 3 a.m., then came home and went back to sleep. then we went for a 4.5 mile walk with DS before *he* left for an afternoon flight after lunch. while they were gone, i went for a 3.45 mile run, which was on the tough side - i prefer running in the a.m. before breakfast, but we wanted to spend the time with DS plus i am running a 10K in the afternoon on sept 1. came home just as DH returned from airport and we went down to the fjord (great place to cool legs after run). lunch and dinner were both leftovers from the kids' farewell party - i made far too much salsa and black bean dip, healthy stuff. and then one more walk after dinner to mail a letter that was left behind for a total of 10 miles today. phew!
anyway, i am here to learn - reading old threads to figure out what comes next, because i am *not* going to go back up again, this time!
