you can also put 'exercise dares' in the jar to make things even more interesting - like 10 squats or 15 burpees or that sort of thing. Pick a few out and do them at random times of the day! :) Feel free to share your dares!
@Slenderella - there are webcam attachments that you can purchase at reasonable prices :)
Another exercise idea especially for those who work out at home! I've been doing fitness DVDs and I sometimes worry about my 'form' and if i'm doing it correctly... While using my laptop's photobooth, a light bulb went off - I can actually video myself while working out using my computer's webcam! Then I can review my form and posture after my workout - another advantage of working out at home! :) yay!

One of my goals for 2012 is to get 45 mins of cardio 3x a week. To make things fun, I decided to make an exercise jar (well, it's more of a plastic food container actually but that doesn't sound too fun, does it?). I typed up, printed out, cut and rolled up the different workout videos I have on hand and my plan is to pick one out every time I have to do cardio. It'll keep things from getting routine, which has always been a setback for me in the past.
