Interesting. I was going to say that I was going to challenge myself to do my full body strength training today with deliberate perfection and drive.

I'm going to rethink my carb vs. protein intake!
I'm in several groups that have been carb bashing even whole grains and fruit. So I fell into that trap.
I soon found myself craving candy and sweet junk like crazy! I couldn't even control it.
When I added a sensible amount of healthy carbs back into my diet the cravings stopped cold.
I don't even care for sweets!

Today I am going to give positive feedback to myself concerning my abdomen. These abs have done a lot for me in the 50+ years that I've had them, including helping to bear the weight of my three sons, so I won't be talking down to them today! emoticon

Took my dog for a brisk walk along the river, then sat outdoors and ate a healthy veggie sandwich (gave Lenny some cheese), we stopped at the pet store, then picked up some stuff at an outdoor market. What a pretty and fun day!

Focusing on doing one thing at a time is very hard for me. I tend to try multi-tasking too much.
Thanks for the reminder that doing one thing well is more important than trying to do too much at once. I'll focus on trying to drink more water and less coffee and tea today. emoticon

Halfway there despite being in meetings since 8:00AM (it's now noon). Yea for me! (the goal I set this morning was to drink 40 oz of water before leaving work at 3:00)

A recurring issue in my life. Especially when one works in an environment with no doors and some folks have no compunction about interrupting. So... my one thing... just about every work day: I will take a break and walk for ten minutes, at least twice today (usually three times, as those are the official breaks).

I think this is awesome. I totally agree. Sometimes it is overwhelming trying to do everything right everyday. Today, I will track all of my food and eat within my calorie requirements.

Sometimes I overwhelm myself by focusing on all the things I must do right; I must track, I must weigh my food, I must exercise, I must think about what I'm feeling, etc...

Today I am picking one thing and focusing on it to do it perfectly. The other things will still get my attention but my focus today will be on:
