It was great. I strained my calf during week, so I thought it was going to be a bad run; however, it actually turned out great.
The temperature was cool, but after mile 5 that was no longer a factor. The cool thing is the run went through parts f cedar spring, greenville, and downtown Dallas. The best thing is the scenary through the residential areas was excellent.
I ran the entire race in between 1hr 30 min and 1 hr 40 min. It was a great run with tons of people. I recommend it to anyone that wants to experience it.
I also realized that I have no desire to do a full marathon at this time.
I can't wait to hear how you did, I did a half marathon a couple years ago, and it was hard, but very satisfying. I'd like to do a full one sometime, but it takes a lot of training. So tell us how it was!
