We'll see for sure tomorrow when I do my Spark LifeStyle Check-up and Weigh in at the gym. Think I've done OK -- the meals with so many carbs just made me thankful that I don't cook like that often any more! Last night we had a piece of baked salmon and a salad.

I am doing the new WW plan, and despite trying to maintain, I am losing again. LOL I am actually kind of excited about getting another gold star, even though I thought I was done with losing. ;-)

Reached my goal November 2009!

I am taking a cooking break. I am always amazed that the more I cook, the less I eat. Cooking is important to my maintenance for so many reasons!

I went to the doctor yesterday and weighed in with all my clothes on at 115. I weigh on my scales at home with no clothes on each week and weigh 110. As long as I stay at 110 at home, I consider I'm at my goal weight. I'm determined to stay there all through the holidays.

Ok reached my goal weight of 142lbs four weeks ago now lowered goal to 140 so 140.6 to-day which is my lowest weight so pleased with this as I have certainly eaten more recently. I know I will probably do less exercise over the winter so a weekly weight in here will keep me on track

We are organic beings. Food and water go in and out every day. There is no way to time a weigh-in with any precision.

I am small enough so that a 2 pound bounce is about right. My sister is 6 inches taller, and she has a 5 pound bounce. As long as a "down" bounce follows an "up" bounce, not to worry.

Heidi -- emoticon I think most of us have a 3-5 pound range that we consider Maintaining. Sounds like you are doing GREAT -- making healthy choices, and allowing little indulgences, but compensating with extra fitness minutes. That's key to long-term success in my opinion!

Is staying right at the number considered maintaining or within 2-3 lbs?? It is just an arbitrary number that I chose - 105. Some morning I am spot on and other mornings I weigh 106 - 107. It will depend for me if one considers if 2-3 lbs. is still considered maintaining or not.
I am a sweet tooth kind of gal and have had trouble with this as of late but I just work out a little longer and harder and seem to be close to my goal weight.

I'm maintaining! Actually going down slightly. My real goal is to maintain every year, my wakeup call to my recent weight loss is going to the doctor and having him read out my weights of my last few visits. It seemed like I was + or - 8 pounds each time.

Doing well -- at the Dr. today & official weight was 142.2. My goal has been 145 -- got as low as 140.5 over the summer, but I'm happy anywhere in this range. If clothes get tight, I won't be happy! The past two months have been an emotional upheaval for me as my married girl and son in law have separated (thank you US Navy!) and my husband lost his job. I have gotten off my regular workout routine. My diet has been pretty much right on. I got on the scale yesterday morning for the first time in close to 2 months and weighed in at 122lbs which is great for me. I am committed to getting back to taking better care of me!

I have noticed a funny thing about maintenance weight. I am now 8 pounds below my goal of 1970, yet I have started to see this weight as not "below goal", but a new goal. I worry when I go up 2 pounds over this new weight level. Which is ridiculous.

I guess once weight obsessed, always weight obsessed, even when no longer overweight.

This hasn't been a good week for my nutrition - my DH was away on travel and I always miss him and end up emotional eating. He's home this evening and I'm looking forward to being good to myself with my nutrition again. I guess I should be thankful he doesn't travel often, but maybe I should purge the kitchen of any "land mines" before he does any future business travel.

I am still new to maintaining lowered my original goal from 142lb to 140. Like to weight my self every morning at present but keep Fridays as my weekly check. Managing ok at present but I LOVE winter comfort food so next few months I have to watch out for any gains over a couple of lbs. Weekly check in with weight with this team will help keep me accountable.

Things are going well, I've lost close to two pounds . . . I felt like the faster I could get those pounds off the better. Some of the 3 pounds gained might have been a little "bloaty" weight (or, just "irregularity" due to change in diet). I'm drinking AT LEAST 64 ounces of water plus other liquids now. While on the trip, I was often limiting my fluid intake 'cause I often didn't know where the next potty break would be.

I seem to be different to how you guys have posted. I have spent my adult life thinking 'just another couple of pounds....this part is mushy, just another pound...my arms are jiggly, just a couple of pounds, and I've been at very low weights (to the disgust of others) and still had the jiggly bits.

I joined this weight loss challenge at my gym, simply because it was a cheap way of getting a personal trainer for 6 weeks - I am very glad I did. She taught me the importance of weight training, and not about those 45 min sessions, but maximizing your time with machines that work multiple muscle groups. In the six weeks I did only lose 5.5 pounds, but I lost 8% body fat. I never imagined! Her point to me is to aim to stay at 125lb but to build muscle. Old me I would be at least trying to get under 120lb.

My weight is going under her prescribed weight, but I've finally been able to accept the number on the scale, and the toning through muscle definition is what my body needed all along. I never imagined getting such good results so quickly.

I'm happy with my weight now. I'm in my maintenance range of 149-153. Today I was 152.
The reality is that my body refuses to get down to 149, feeling comfortable.

I'm doing the WW program and for the last 6 months I've been experimenting eating healthy and exercise consistenly WITHOUT counting any points at al!!!!
I make sure I follow all the 9 healthy guidelines, eat from all the food groups, watch calories, fat, fiber, protein, carbs, sodium, cholesterol....etc....
My experiment works so well that I'm going to continue doing it.
I try to eat foods from the planet: vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legums, a little of lean beef and dairy.
I wonder if at one point in the future I'll become vegetarian.....
As of now I eat egetarian at least 3 days a week.

I also like to weigh every morning.

6 years, 4 months and 7 days on maintenance for lifetime!

My goal was 120-125. Have kept within that range for 2.5 months now. Sometimes down to 118/119. People keep telling me I'm tiny. That's a word I've never had describe me before. If I get hungry and have no more calories for the day - I'll just brush my teeth and go to bed. I don't overeat and I get more sleep!

I am at 141, which is within my 140-145 pound range. I've had a high calorie week with lots of eating out, so I need to get back on track. I know I need to not fall back into those bad habits if I want to continue to maintain. I had a few days in October where I weighed in at 139- it made me feel good, so maybe I'll try to get there. I will have my annual physical in January with my doctor, so I'll talk to him then about it.

Omg... need to get back to mainenance! I've been not well, went away on vacation, and been off schedule with exercise because of both. I did get 3 days of workout this week and tried much harder to stay on track with food. I've gotta do better!

Yesterday I had my highest weigh in at Weight Watchers in over six months - 132.6. This morn here at home, after a good day yesterday, I weighed 129.4. That's more like it. For me 130 is BMI of 21.

In January 2010 I set my resolution to maintain between 129 and 135. Since then, I've decided I really like 126. We'll see if I can get back there.

So, overall I am really happy with my accomplishment, but still hoping for a little more!

My doctor convinced me that I should just try and stay between 140 and 145. I think I will take his advice. So, yes, I think I'm doing great!

A pound below goal weight, but this fluctuates, on track with exercise and eating healthy most of the time, though I did allow myself a glass of dry sherry tonight at my favorite Spanish restaurant.

My last weigh in was 123lb - 3lb below my original SP goal and 4lb above my lowest weight. I've adjusted my calorie range back to losing rather than maintaining and am aiming to get back to 120.

I'm not too bothered about losing but I don't want to gain any more.

Isn't it great to see a thread of people who are maintaining - especially as so many of us are veterans of failed campaigns in the past?

Yes, I'm still at my goal wt. I range from 124 to 126. My goal is 125. I'm happy with that range.

I am weighing myself every day especially through the holidays so that I don't get "comfortable". I weighed in at 122 this morning.

I was 106.8 this morning.

One of the Spark articles I (re-)read this morning was about the advantages of daily weighing. If I enter each day's weight on the Spark site the line graph looks too crowded to read, though. Have to do it in the Dayrunner calendar I've had for 25 years now. How analog, but it works.

I didn't see a Topic for November so I started one.

I am exactly at my goal weight of 145 this morning.

I met my goal in mid June and I am very happy that when I gain a few pounds I am able to take them off quickly and easily. I love SP.
