You've got the right idea sending all the tempting goodies to work with your husband. I've found that "out of sight, out of mind" is motivation to keep those high-calorie, low-nutrition items completely out of the house. Also, planning your snacks ahead of time can keep you from getting too hungry. When I am starving, I am tempted to eat everything in sight, so try to have 3 meals and 2 snacks every day. We're all in the same boat and face the same temptations. Monday is a great day to start back on the right track! We're pulling for you. Peggy

Snookums: Never forget how awful you feel today! It's called "keeping it green". The next time the urge hits (and it will) remember this feeling and that it isn't worth any food you can think of. Call someone, come here and Spark a hundred people, whatever it takes for the urge to pass. And it will.
You never have to feel this way again.

OMG so sad! I'm in my first binge in 10 months :( I knew what I was doing and did it anyway. It's so sad. I hope I'm done. All candy and baked goods will go to work with my husband tomorrow. I should be back on track. Please send me some support!
Have a healthy day!

Still at goal and maintaining at 110 by getting as many steps on my pedometer daily as possible (today - 11554) and logging in to Sparkpeople to record my food and exercise every day. Plan to continue till the end of the year at least.

Hello I went to my doctor this week and he told me it was time to stop losing anymore weight. I have been here on spark over a year and lost 93 pounds. I am at 132 right now so here I go to the next step in this journey. So I joined this new team to see what was next.

That's a shame Nell, you'd think Sparks would come up with something.
Still at 123 and happy with that- my weight dipped midweek but back up again this morning.

That's pretty much it, Teach. A bunch of us have asked Spark to do a special "maintenance" ticker to show bounce weight around goal, but the ticker won't show below goal. Which is why I don't use mine anymore.

Moonchild: my weight has bounced a couple of pounds up and down for years. Always around goal, though. It has something to do with being 80% water or whatever it is.

Good to see you Mimi!!
I weigh every day in the morning, I'm below goal right now. I am into New Day's Resolutions every day, rather than one batch a year right after the holidays.
And the days keep going by....
(If Spark would ever allow a ticker to show a weight below goal, I'd put my ticker back up.)

It's good to check, at least once a month, where are we, regarding our goal weight, and act upon it, if necessary. I check it every day...smile...
6 years, 3 months and 18 days at maintenance.

Here's somthing I wrote a while ago. I still find it very helpful.
How about having a fun "Staying at goal and maintaining" party during each month, right here, on this thread. A NEW thread will start at the beginning of each month.
If you're within your maintenance range, WONDERFUL! Celebrate it!

I've been weighing once a week ever since I reached my goal of 110 3 yrs. ago and my scale always stops right at 110, until this week it stopped at 109. I was quite surprised, so I decided to measure my waist, hips and thighs to see if they had gotten any smaller since I last measured in July. Hallelujah! I've lost an inch in my waist, an inch and a half in my hips and an inch in my thighs. My friends at Jazzercise were telling me how great I looked, but I couldn't believe it. Now I do! Thanks to Sparkpeople, yoga and Jazzercize and walking 10,000 steps a day.

Any word from Spark about letting our tickers show weights under goal? It doesn't make sense to have to change goal just to show the down bounce.

Congrats to all you great maintainers!!
Yes, I'm maintaining. Official October WW weigh in was 128.8 this past Saturday. My lowest WW weigh ever was 128.2, so I'm close. At home I had a 127.2 on Saturday. My lowest at home has been 125.6. So, I wouldn't mind going down a pound or two, but honestly, I am very, very happy to be where I am.
