This is the point where I am at, right now. Happy where my body is, but also know that better CAN be had, cause I've had it! emoticon

But, I have learned from past experience, that always diving for that lower scale number, instead of being satisfied of where I'm at...usually just backfires. So my limit is 130 pounds..no matter what. As long as I keep up with the strength training, I don't NEED a lower scale weight than that..so why fight it! emoticon

I hear you, I set 130 as my first goal and then wanted to lose some more so I just reset my goal down so it looks like I haven't reached my goal but oh well, I'll just celebrate again!

Yeah, SparkPeople doesn't have a place for maintainer-losers! You have to set a goal to lose or maintain. I chose 143 lbs when I came to SparkPeople because that is what I weighed and my doctor said that was fine. Well, I've lost about 15 more pounds with SparkPeople. I eat much healthier now, watch my sodium and eat a more balanced food plan. But I can't show a ticker because I chose maintenance when I came here. Oh, well. Doesn't really matter. SparkPeople has helped me go from the top of the healthy BMI range to a healthier range. Also, I am more fit. I am gaining strength and cardio fitness, too. Love SP. -Marsha

135 even again this morning, yes I'm a daily weigher...I shouldn't have ate 4/6 of a bag of goldfish! LOL They're so little and so good, good thing I don't buy them regularly! Don't know if I'll run today, my right foot is hurting..well the front of my foot, behind my big toe on the bottom (I'm sure that part of the foot is called something)...where people get a lot of corns LOLOL Knowing me I'll go anyway!

Not so odd. I lost 20 lb. after I reached goal weight. The pressure was off, and I just kept on with the program, and off it came, though not as quickly. Listen to your body, and you'll get there.

Congratulations and welcome. This is a very supportive team.

Like others here, I also continued to lose after reaching what I had thought was my home weight (i.e. where I feel comfortable).

I reached my original goal of 126 lb last September but am now fairly steady at 120 lb.

Good luck with your plans.

My initial goal weight from 220 was 140...then I got there and I just continued doing what I did and went to 130...then I started running and went down to 122! I've maintained this weight now for five months. I'm running my first 5k in April...it's so cool that you've run two and decreased your time! That's ultimately my goal. Good topic!

Currently maintaining 120 to 125 pounds for nearly a year!

I really need to think of "maintaining" as "slowly losing weight and maybe not succeeding all the time", otherwise I'm gaining (been there, doing that!).

I have lost more than I thought I would. 108 was where I would be really happy at. When I got there, I kept dipping below.

My ideal weight was 102/104 in my early 20's. Not sure if I'll get there again, but I still have an inch to pinch on the waist. I am looking forward to flattening the stomach and find a six pack.. emoticon

I go from 106-110 depending. I emoticon when I get close to 110.

It does work! I got to my Weight Watcher goal of 155 March 21, 2009. I added 4 points (about 280 calories) and continued to lose. I started on SP in Sept 2009. I'm up to 1500-1850 calories a day on SparkPeople and I weigh in the range of 127-131 now. I think I've about stabilized. So I lost a lot of weight on a fairly high calorie, healthy diet. Great!

Okay I reached my goal of 135 lbs March 5 and now I'm trying to lose and maintain at the same time. Weird but I am LOL I don't want to go above 135 but I want to get down to 129, in due time. So I'm not in a rush but I do want to get there, so right now I'm kind of doing both...it's an odd thing but it's working for me.
