barely!!!!

my "goal" is a healthy BMI - which I'm happy to report I'm back to as of last week... whew!

my preferred weight range is 145-150 - I have 3 1/2 pounds to go to get back there!

My ticker represents 6 years of learning and losing (and regaining a bit) - I'm NOT going back! I *AM* fit 4 life!!

Newbie here.

I just hit my goal weight of 132 this week, losing 15 lbs. I have been on SP for 10 weeks. I previously lost 25 lbs but gained almost all of it back.

I am an avid cyclist and a recent running convert. I ran my first 5K a month ago with a time of 26:20.

I am here to learn and share my own experiences.

Training for a marathon now, so I have to increase my carbs...protein and fats. Really watching my diet to make sure I am eating enough.

I've been slow in replying, what with knee surgery hijinks... but I'm still at goal and maintaining! It's a state of mind, and I feel like I am, I just didn't know how I was doing on the scale. Doing just fine!!

Hello everyone! I'm new to the group. My name is Marie, I'm 27 yrs old and I live in upstate NY. I live here with my sweet lil mini dachshund, and my amazing bf.

I've finally made it to my 'ultimate goal' of 135 lbs. A total loss of 83 lbs all on my own. No diet pills, no surgery, just hard work, dedication and lots of sweating. haha Woo hoo!!!! Hard work pays off!

Glad to see a team for support in maintaining! Look forward to seeing you all around the boards! :)

emoticon It has been up and down that peskey two pounds for the last couple of months. However, I believe I have stabilized at a healthy weight so far this month. I am at that point where I seek that healthy balance between reality, a "healthy" number, and the internal perceptions.

Congrats Mimi!!! Five years is a really big milestone..statistics show those who make it usually keep it off for the long term! I'm now in the final leg of my fourth year maintaining...it's easier, but still a challenge for me.

The good news is, even after my vacation, followed by a week with my sister visiting, I'm within my personal maintenance range this month and below my WW goal. My official weigh-in will be this Saturday and by then I may even be back in the middle of the range...my 'happy place'!

Evidently I have let stress get the best of my. I see red flags everywhere as self-care is not the priority it should be. Oddly, my weight is a bit lower than it should be, and I need to get back on track with healthier choices which lead to better health.

Well, I feel like I'm maintaining. However, I ended the month with a root canal followed by knee surgery, 3 days later, which has, honestly, knocked me off my feet.

On the plus side, I'm using the recovery time to get more serious about the weight training I started with a personal trainer, prior to surgery. I'm working to make it a new habit!

Weight-wise, I've been up and down a lot the past few months, so I'm taking a break from the scale for the month, but mentally I feel like I'm maintaining! Just have a few bad habits to break out of and I'll be free!

Congrats to all the maintainers, and those who are working on getting back to their goals!

Thank you.
Today, July 2nd, is my 5th year anniversary of maintennace. What a journey it has been! I'm so excited!
Looking back I find that my 5th year was the hardest one to maintain the weight loss. I wonder why.

Next short-term goal: 6 years of maintenance
Long-term goal: 10 years of maintenance

Congratulations to everyone!

I'll celebrate 10 years of maintenance on July 2nd, 2014!

One year since reaching maintenance and I'm a little below what SP recommended but a kilo more than I'd like to be, but very happy with myself. My measurements are all the same and for 61 I'm feeling great. Yeah!!!

At goal and celebrating one year of maintenance (30 June)!

Congrats to all who are maintaining... especially PersistenceMimi with her FIVE YEAR MAINTENANCE ANNIVERSARY! WOOHOO!

I am a MARATHONER!!!
Tacoma City Marathon (3 May 09) - 3:49:13
... and I'm BOSTON BOUND!!!!
Capital City Marathon (16 May 10) - 3:36:52

...and instead of running Boston, I had a kid! And then 2.5 years later I had another one.
BUT, I've never stopped running or racing!

One of these days, I'll re-qualify for Boston. And tackle Goofy's Race and a Half. Maybe an ultra. Or a half Ironman...

Maintaining, healthily pregnant, or healthily breastfeeding since
