Russ, the riding instructor and I have had a *very* good time discussing my sore a$$ on Facebook...leaves my coworkers and whatnot wondering.
Also for a Tee: "I may no longer have a big ass, but I know where it is"
Which is, of course, the idea ; )
It got a little better this week, I must be developing some tolerance again!

Utah, that's hysertical!

I see the Team T-shirts now:

"I might not have a big ass anymore, but Lord Knows it's a sore one."

(I'd wear it, just remind me not to wear it to the bar. No good would come of that)

Best,

*LAUGHS* There's a bar I do most of my work at, and I'll sit there for hours typing. Eventually I'll get up and I'll see my hip bones imprinted int the fabric. LOL, it used to be my cheeks.

And yes I got sore. Finally I had to start switching chairs.

Best,
Russ Lane

I know this is old, but I just laughed when I read it. I used to ride horses a LOT, then in the last year I did't. I am now back at it, started in June, and there are a couple of issues.
1) I'm not used to this body, I've never ridden with this body, and it is like doing complete repatterning to learn how to manage it (I was at a very high level before...now I feel I can hardly keep it together, lol)
and 2) my BUTT!!!! OMG, its been sore all summer! ow ow ow...The instructor just laughs at me, as I am running around going, "OMG! There are my butt bones!!!"
I am working on selling her one of my really nice saddles, so hopefully will be able to use that instead, and it will be nicer on my rear end!

I thought it was just because I haven't really sat at my computer for very long in the past month, but I've been noticing this same thing! Hadn't really thought about it until now lol

I am currently losing fat from my butt (one of the last things to go, of course), so this is an entirely new experience.

I have found both. When I was at my goal weight people said I was too thin, eat, and you look sick. Yes, my butt also got sore when sitting on a hard chair. When heavy/overweight I have found co-workers making remarks about my thighs rubbing together, is she pregnant, and fatso.

I started 3/6/07 at 149. I have lost almost 22 pounds.

when I was overweight and health was hurting no one ever said anything

now that I did something good for myself people feel they have a right to comment on my body! grrrrr

the other day someone at work came up to me and say
"you look too skinny you lost too much weight"
this is someone who just say hello and small talk about the weather its not even a co-worker friend
I could understand if it was someone im friends with
and was concerned, but these remarks
I feel they are suggesting Im getting eating disorder
and it sabotage my efforts, I gained 3 pounds that weekend Ggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Believe it or not, I have discovered one drawback in losing weight! I cannot sit on a hard chair for long or my butt gets sore! I no longer have the padding!lol
