I was 123 last Friday (within range), but am hoping to be less (121-120) this Friday when I weigh in. I swear it has to be the lifting. I have been hungrier lately too. Can adding a few pounds of muscle really make you so much more hungry?

So far this month, I've maintained and am actually 3 lbs under my personal goal. I've added calories and am trying to tweak it to see how it goes.

Weighed today and so far so good :)

My goal right now is to firm up a bit so I plan to be focusing on strength exercises for the next several weeks - and keep up with the cardio 'cause I am scared to let go of the cardio - I need all that sweat!!!

I met my first goal weight yesterday. I plan on setting a new goal weight to work towards after I have maintained my current weight for a few weeks.

Honestly, who cares about the scale!!! Lifting heavy weights BUILDS muscle which can and will increase the weight shown on the scale. Is seeing that "magic number" more important or is shaping your body and increasing your metabolism more important?

That's what I tell myself when I see a gain in the scale. I know it's the right kind of gain and not one from being lazy or eating horribly.

I hear you about lifting. The scale has gone a bit the wrong way since Christmas, but my clothes still fit good. I don't want to give up lifting though because I love the definition. What's a girl to do???

I'm both in and not within my Maintenance Range

I am body building now so I will probably gain another 5-7 lbs over the next 6 months. I also will lose another 3-7 inches as a result of the fat loss that is going to occur.

I do consider myself to be "Maintaining" as I am have raised my calorie range and am no longer solely focused on getting "weight" off. I do want to lose more inches, about 1 more size..2 at the most. My mentality thanks to BBing has really changed how I look at life and this whole "diet" experience. We'll do pretty much anything just to see the scale flash that magic number. When you Body Build the scale is NEVER your friend and you have a whole new set of rules to play by.

** As long as my clothes remain comfortable and/or get bigger, then I'm happy. Once things start getting snug again, I know I need to do something about it... A scale can't decide when that is for me.

Almost! I'm just a little out of range. Ran into some problems at the end of the month, but I am back on track and so focused that I know that I will be in range truly in no time.

AND I'm quite proud to say that I didn't let my weight get up into the 140s during this personal crisis like I have done in the past.

Eight months of maintaining and still below goal: between 117-119 at every morning weigh-in. 250 minutes of walking and 45 minutes strength training weekly allows me an average of 1743 calories per day.

I have fluctuated a lot since Christmas, but I am hanging in there. I would like to see that 119 again, however I think it's actually muscle weight that I have put on. Anyway, rock on everyone!

I'm 2.3 pounds above my lowest ultimate goal weight.

My goals for April:
1. Exercise 5 days each week.
2. Follow all 9 healthy guidelines every day.
3. Lose 1-2 pounds in April.

I can do it is I want to!

emoticon to all of you.

emoticon Yes, I'm still at goal. It's only been 2 1/2 months, but I'm really excited. I've actually lost 8 pounds below my goal (gotta learn to eat more so I quit losing), but wanted to get below goal anyway to give myself a little "room".

Can't wait for summer...I'll be wearing a bikini for the first time in several years!!! emoticon
