Not sure Mommy. I know I sweat different with ST than running. To check your calorie burn when running you can use mapmyrun.com to track your route and time and it will give you cals burned.

You will burn more calories with certain exercises but sweating is your body's natural way of trying to cool itself down. It is not really a gauge for calories burned by how much we sweat (if that makes sense at all lol).
Well, I don't know - but since sweat is the body cooling us down, I would say that when you run you are hotter. Now, given that you are presumably running outside in the summer, it may just be that it is hot outside and aerobics is inside? Alternatively, it may be that when you run, the sweat doesn't evaporate as fast and so you aren't noticing the quantity of sweat? I do know that some folks just sweat more than others. Finally, do keep drinking water - It is only in very hot climates (or things like walking up or down the grand canyon) or incredible workouts that you really need to worry about replacing electrolytes. I would be interested in knowing the answer to that also. :) I do know that the more you sweat the more water you should drink because you can get dehydrated quickly. I sure sweat a lot during workouts.
I have a question. When I run I sweat so much more then when I do aerobics. On the other hand I can tell the aerobics work different muscles. So does more sweat mean more calorie burn? I don't have a HRM, but should probably get one hah.
