I do more cardio now that I'm done losing. I started with 500 calories every day doing some sort of cardio machine, and now I'm up to 600-950 6 days a week. I like to be able to eat more :)

Thanks for the responses! I will just monitor it and see what happens. I always try to mix things up with my running so I keep my body guessing.

You do have to find a balance that works for you. I was doing a lot more cardio and strength training when I was losing, and even since I've been on maintenance, I go up and down on how much I can fit into my schedule. Like you, I get busy at times and just can't do as much. I think you just have to continue to monitor your weight. If you start to creep up over your comfort zone, decrease your intake, or up your workouts. I think if time is an issue, you have to up the intensity rather than the total time. You have the right idea w/ the hiit, and tempo runs. I think it's all individual, and we all find the things that work for us. I don't do anywhere near 45 mins a day most days (more like 30 mins, but high intensity) and I've been maintaining 2 and a half years now.

I'm in the same situation. I can't do my cardio most days because of my work schedule. Trying to figure out how to get the cardio in. When I can, I'm lucky if I can get in 30 minutes three days a week.

On Tues and Thurs I was doing 50 minutes of cardio. I was doing Turbo Jam though. I feel like I burn more when I run because I sweat my rear off! I read an article (can't remember where) that people who maintain do 45 minutes or more cardio most days of the week. I don't see how I can fit that in.

That should definitely be enough to maintain. Were you doing a lot more cardio then this when you were losing? If so, you may have to play around with your calories a bit to find the right balance. If you input the new number of calories burned each week into SP it will change you calorie range if need be. I'd do that and then see if that differs from the amount you're eating now.

I am decreasing my cardio a little due to life's schedule. I will be running 30 min Mon-Fri, some hilt and some tempo runs. On the weekends I will continue doing Turbo Jam. I also need to fit my 3 days ST in somewhere. My question is, is this enough cardio to maintain? Should I eat less? Today was my first day getting up early, and I am so freaking tired! I sure hope my body gets used to it soon! Thanks in advance for any responses!
