You worked hard enough to deserve a little rest! Good job taking the time off AND having the discipline and drive to know it's time to get back in there and exercise again!

Rest is highly valuable! Most of us don't do it enough.Great that you still dropped a couple pounds - did you adjust your calories while resting??

...there is a place in you where you have never been wounded, where there's still a sureness in you, where there's a seamlessness in you, and where there is a confidence and tranquility in you. ~John O'Donohue

Good to hear that you are back to fighting fit.

Hello: Two weeks ago, I got sick and needed a rest from constantly working out for the past 1 1/2 years...I didn't gain any weight, in fact I drifted down a couple of pounds. I was hurting a little in my waist and groin area, nothing serious but I knew that a little rest would cure me. This has happened before and I know that other people reading this post can relate to this subject. A little time off works wonders!!! I also have an achilles that tends to act up , so I can't run like I want to but riding a bike is a great substitute. Now, I'm jumping out of my skin and can't wait to get to the gym tomorrow.......See you'all..........swalerroe7
