Anne, That is so wonderful that you and DH are doing this together. My goal is to stay OP for the next 40 days and not eat any peanut butter cups. My point allowence is 18 per day, with an additional 5 per day (my weekly 35 flex points) if I chose to use them. I believe this will help to stop my binge-emotional eating. I wish you and your DH success on this quest for Lent. emoticon

This is not a WW tip but I am a lifetime member but could never keep my goal weight until I started SP.
Yesterday was starting of lent season 40 days. DH & I together made the decison to not eat between meals during lent as a sacrifice. This will not be easy for either one of us but we know it also will help us lose weight. This will be easier with the 2 of us doing it together.
Good luck to all of you. Anne emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Tuesday, Feb 5

In a hurry? Don't skip breakfast. Keep something on hand that you can eat on the run; fruit, emoticon emoticon or a low fat breakfast bar.

Wednesday, Feb. 6

Be a well-informed consumer. Decide what to eat before reaching a restaurant by looking at their menu ahead of time.

Thursday, Feb. 7

Pick a place where you refuse to eat. The car, your desk, your bedroom- a place where you are apt to make poor choices.

Friday, Feb 8

Want to feel full? Focus on foods that are high in water content, such as fruits and vegetables.
emoticon emoticon emoticon

Saturday, Feb 9

Going out to eat this weekend? Eat plenty of vegetables and salad and a small serving of the main entree.

Sunday, Feb. 10

Schedule your exercise for the week. Make being active a prioruty and make it fun!

Friday, Feb. 1

This may be a short month, but there is still plenty of time to reach a goal. What is yours?

Saturday, Feb. 2

Eat defensively this weekend. Know when the difficult times will be and plan for them ahead of time.

Sunday, Feb. 3

Find a lower- fat version of a favorite recipie. The Recipie Builder on ETools (Or Spark) can help!

Monday, Feb. 4

What does weight-loss success look like to you? What are you wiling to do to achieve it?
