But I will fill you in anyway! As many of you know I've been training for the Chickamauga Half Marathon since early this summer. With school activities, the busy summer schedule, and just plain beautiful weather, I got side tracked. I can't make any excuses to you guys. When you get sidetracked sometimes it sweeps you away and you tend to lose sight of your priorities. I am back and will do my best to stay on course, but you guys know how ... oh look! A Kitty! ... ADD I am.
I hope everyone has had a great summer and fall. Let's not get lazy over the holidays. It's such a tempting time. There is always something good and still healthy that you can make to satisfy those cravings. (Pumpkin pie is my downfall, but there are some FANTASTIC pumpkin bar recipies out there that work too.) It's not a time to sit on the couch watching TV either. Bundle up, grab your ear muffs, and get out there. Even if it's just a 5 minute walk it'll do you a world of good.
