There was Atkins and South Beach leading the charge with high protein diets so many years. I found this article and thought here we go again. I'm a firm believer in eating from all the food groups and getting the full spectrum of nutrients. After reading the article, I'm glad to see it isn't about promoting some high protein diet. Instead, it focuses on shifting calorie intake toward proteins and away from so many carbs. I could see this. I have a whey protein shake every day for breakfast. I still find I'm barely over the minimum on protein intake for the day. This is one slight tweak I may have to try.
